Captain Mikey & Kanoe were awesome!!!! Being able to see 5 islands at one point of the ocean is phenomenal and the history of the sea caves is super interesting. 3 different stops of snorkeling was so fun to see different fish at each and turtles too. This trip is not for the faint of heart. It is definitely a rough ride at points, so if you are looking for a trip that you stay on the boat to stay dry it’s not for you, everyone gets wet. Kanoe keeps it lighthearted with all his goofy jokes This was my daughters favorite excursion that we have been on.

We were scheduled through a group tour so the expectation was it would be relatively tame - see some caves and turtles and do some snorkeling.
What happened was 90 minutes of jumping 10’ waves in an inflatable boat. An hour in with my spine aching from slamming down on the water I asked what the timeframe was for the rough portion of the trip to end - a laughing captain reminded me we are out for 5 hours with no expectation management.
Once we got through that chaos to the south end of the island to see the lava flows things calmed down for the trip back but that first part of the trip is harrowing and cortisol spiking … and for our group there was no warning or expectation management.
To their credit, the captain and mate did some apologizing on the way back as they realized we had not been prepared on the front end they have initially made very light of the concerns and fear being expressed by virtually everyone on the boat.

Captain Brandon took us on one amazing adventure. The tour started off with him spotting a whale so we spent extra time watching this majestic creature! What an unexpected highlight. Then we saw the lava caves and went snorkeling in 3 different spots! Captain Brandon was extremely knowledgeable and funny. He took great care of us and even showed us the Finding Nemo spots! It was my wife’s best snorkeling and boat trip! This tour was an absolute highlight of our trip to Maui and Hawaii! If you can go on this tour you should but definitely ask for Captain Brandon!

Been on Blue Water Rafting many times... and they always deliver an amazing journey! Whale season was dwindling and no sightings expected. Took the 5.5 hr trip past La Perouse Bay with Captain Scott and his beautiful first mate, Angela! It was windy and swelly day and as promised, got soaked on the trip out but got to see things I've never seen before growing up there (yes, I was born and raised there). The snorkeling was average but he did give us the chance to dive on the OUTSIDE of Molokini Island. As we were getting ready to go into the crater, Capt Scott saw something on the horizon that was promising and out we headed... only to catch many breeches from probably the last whales remaining. I love Blue Water Rafting because they take those 'side trips' that everyone enjoys... last time it was spinner dolphins doing their acrobatics as we followed them, and before whales in Jan. You can snorkel anytime but you cannot get close to these amazing sea mammals as Blue Water Rafting did for us... repeatedly!

Fun guides. Small boat experience is so much better than a large booze cruise. Be prepared to get wet on the ride— our teen loved it. Snorkeling is top notch.

Such an amazing tour! Captain Charlie was able to make sure we all had an awesome time. We snorkelled in multiple different areas including the finding nemo inspiration reef. Highly recommend this tour!!

Captain Brandon and Kenoe are an amazing team that gave us THE BEST boat ride we've ever been on. They educated us in all things Hawaii while constantly making us laugh with their jokes and banter. Riding through the waves was fast, fun and very wet 🤣. The highlights were the sea caves and all 3 snorkeling destinations were phenomenal, we got to swim with 6 sea turtles! Even watched whales first thing in the morning. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend the 5.5 hour tour. Captain Brandon and Kenoe truly are the dream team. Mahalo!!! 🙏❤️

Awesome experience! Crew were very knowledgeable and gave us a great tour! (Thank you to Jenna and Captain Charlie) The snorkeling was amaizing and the whale watching couldn't be better. Recommend bringing a wetsuit top so you can spend as much time as possible in the water. My big tip to families would be that I would not recommend this tour for kids that still get motion sick in the car - there were a few green looking kids on this trip and that's not fun for them.

Our skipper Scott was knowledgeable and entertaining. The whole experience was just amazing from start to finish. Most importantly, the company did not cancel our trip even though we were the only two people booked for this tour. This is my second trip with Blue Water and both have been beyond expectations!

What an amazing experience!!
I've lived on Maui for well over 40 years and even though I have been on many trails in Kanaio on horse I've always wanted to view from the water.
This was an amazing experience and surpassed my imagination of what it would be like!!
Our captain Chad was so informative yet casual. Made everything interesting and real to life! We got to snorkel and see so many different kinds of fish that I've never seen before!! Didn't feel rushed in any way , which was what I was afraid of happening.
Chads expertise at driving that boat was top notch professional, got us into the sea caves and around really large rocks! Felt totally safe at all times.
This trip was a present to my granddaughter who is leaving for college, wanted her to
take this memory of home with her to Colorado
Blue Water Rafts did not disappoint!!
I've rarely written a review this long!!
