This small-group tour includes a short transfer from your hotel to Cairns Railway Station where you will board the historic Kuranda Scenic Railway for an amazing journey over 37 bridges & through 15 tunnels passing the rainforest to the charming village of Kuranda. It’s a short walk to the village where you will have over 2 hours to dine, explore, shop or perhaps an exciting encounter with wildlife at one of the zoos (fees apply) Later, make your way to Skyrail Rainforest Cableway where you will glide over the rainforest canopy as you make your way to the Barron Falls.
View the magnificent Barron Gorge, the falls & visit the Rainforest Interpretive Centre before re-boarding the cableway and making your way to Red Peak Station. From there explore the World Heritage listed rainforest before re-boarding and completing your journey at Smithfield where you will be met and transferred to your accomodation. (please note the itinerary for this tour was reversed January 2022)

We were picked up at our hotel on time. Skyrail was amazing, going over the rain forest. The Kuranda train was great. Michael was well organised and had a good sense of humour.

The train trip and skyrail were excellent and would have given this trip 5 stars but unfortunately the weather at Kuranda was poor and very wet..
Would definitely recommend..

Great Views and history of the railway. Enjoyed going through town and checking out the shops. Sky way return was remarkable. Michael was attentitive and showed local sights. Highly recommended.

Very enjoyable, scenery was fantastic and Kuranda village beautiful, a must see is butterfly farm. Michael bus driver very informative and friendly. Must do for everyone going to Cairns.

This tour was amazing! The train was very fun and scenic. Kuranda had lots of fun shops with great coffee and souvenirs. We went to the Koala sanctuary where you can see Koalas up close and feed kangaroos. The Skyrail on the way down was our favorite part! You have the option to get off twice, where you can view Barron Falls from different lookouts. This tour was a great way to see a little bit of everything and make the most out of your day. We loved that Michael booked everything for us, yet we were still able to explore Kuranda on our own itinerary. I highly recommend this tour if you want to see a lot of gorgeous sites
Michael was a great tour guide and very punctual so everything went smoothly. We also appreciate the timing of the tour, as a full-day would have been tiring. Highly recommend!!

Low key, DIY sightseeing tour. Michael organized our tickets for the railway and cable car. Kuranda is a quaint town. Railway took us up to the village with narration on the history of the railway. Cable car took us over the rainforest. Nice, but not our top 5 sights.

The cable cars were amazing and my husband and I enjoyed the jungle walk after our train ride. Kuranda was beautiful and we had a nice stroll through the market there
