In this Walking Tour you will discover the Historic Center of Mexico City .
Our tour will begin in front of the Metropolitan Cathedral in the Zócalo Square, core of politics, social movements, religion, traditions and festivities. We will go through the beautiful buildings of the main square until we find ourselves in front of the Templo Mayor, where we will learn about the Aztec heritage of the Mexican people.
We will continue to the National Office of Public Education known for its beautiful colonial architecture and Murals from Diego Rivera. Among busy streets and comercial areas, we will find the National Museum of Art, a symbol of the development and modernity of the 20th century.
Finally we will arrive at the beautiful Palace of Fine Arts, icon of the City due to its impressive design and Art Deco influence.

Our Guide, Ivan was AMAZING!
Very knowledgeable on not just the Markets but Mexico City as a whole. Always happy and eager to answer any questions you have about the market along with its history while weaving interesting information about Mexico and Mexico City's culture.
Ivan whisked us through 3 amazing markets while stopping at key points to feed us and explain the inner workings of one of the world's largest markets, La Merced. I would take the tour again just to have those tamale oaxaquenos. SO AMAZING!

We loved our guide! He was very informative and detailed on our 2 hour and 45 minute walk. Don't forget to tip. Most gave 200 Pesos or $11 USD.

I toured with Warryor and Ari Lizett. They were both amazing!! Warryor is such an animated, passionate, and funny guide who is so knowledgeable about Mexico city. Ari Lizett was so thoughtful and caring and was a lovely storyteller.

I did the historical center and la roma/ condesa tours both with Javier. He is very knowledgeable about the history of those areas. Javier was delightful and very patient with answering questions.

This was an excellent overview of the major places in historical centro. Guide was extremely knowledgeable and provided a great history of the phases of Mexican history. Guide’s explanation of murals in Palace of Fine Arts was wonderful.

We had such a fun and educational time on this tour with Javier! We were running about 15 mins late and he was gracious enough to wait for us for a late start. He patiently explored all of the sites and explained all of the stops including so much interesting current day tidbits. We loved talking to him about the Mexican people and food! Highly recommend.
