this was our second time adventuring with Happy Fish Catamarans after finding out about the company 2 years ago. both times have been absolutely amazing and I highly recommend booking with them. the crew members are attentive and engaging. they also hilarious and bring the fun. the snorkeling portion is beautiful and you get to see a lot of fish. while we love snorkeling, our favorite part has always been the sandbar and floating bar. the sandbar is the perfect opportunity to get off the boat and snag some beautiful photos in the water. they also served up some fresh guacamole (when is season) with chips which was delicious and the perfect snack. also you gotta take a shot of their special DR drink.
I highly recommend Happy Fish, you won’t regret it.

After reading the many awesome reviews for this experience, I was excited to give it a try with my family, which included our 3 and 5 year olds. The reviews I read before didn’t do this tour justice! We loved it so much.
The boat looked new and was very clean. We had 16 tourists in total on our boat (the max) and there was still PLENTY of space to roam around. (You know the company cares about creating a great experience over maxing out the boat capacity, which could have accommodated many more!) The crew was SO friendly and funny. The drinks and snacks were plentiful. The best tasting margaritas I had in Punta Cana were on this boat (gracias Ana!).
There was another family with older kids and then an adult-only group on our boat. The atmosphere was chill party vibes, which felt perfect for everyone.
We were in Punta Cana for 8 days. I wish we had booked this twice during our stay, instead of only on our last day. It was that fun. Book this!

The crew is by far the best - Kevin, David, Rafael, George were fantastic. They make you feel like home.
It was very organized and easy to get.
They are at the Bavaro Beach, just 5 mi. Walk in the beach from the hotel Barcelo Bavaro.
I would do it again.

To start the day we were fairly disappointed because we booked this one specifically for the hammocks, but we showed up and they put us on the big boat. We got charged the little boat price ($100) even though we were on the bigger boat (only $80).
But after that.....everything was beyond our expectations. David was the life of the party on the boat, George was an excellent bartender, and Kevin Hart was the best snorkeling guide. We've done a few of these in different countries, and this was the first time the guide brought out fish food. We saw thousands of fish, and it was incredible.
The next stop was so much fun. David made sure everyone had full drinks from the floating, we hung out with others from the boat, and we enjoyed the crystal clear water.
The short ride home was accompanied by some group dancing on the boat. Every one there was having an excellent time...from ages 4 to 70.
We would 100% book this again, and we told all the others from the resort to do the same. Just be careful of which boat they put you on.

This was the very first time that I tried snorkeling! The guides were enjoyable and patient as they assisted me with trying to feel comfortable in this new element! I’m glad we went on this excursion! It was reasonably priced and we definitely got our money’s worth and more!!!

This was the highlight of our trip! Thank you to Daniel and crew! The boat is spotless, good drink selection and lots of room to spread out with this small group size. Both my teen boys loved it! We would do this again!

This was a fantastic tour! Pick up from our resort was right on time and easy. The tour itself was perfect. The staff was a ton of fun with David leading the festivities. I liked the quality of the boat with bathrooms and a great bar. There was a good mix of people without it being too crowded and the boat ride was short to the snorkeling reef. The reef was awesome and they had modern snorkeling gear which worked great and we saw a ton of fish. The sand bar was a little more crowded with more tour operators but we had a good area and the floating bar was really good with some custom rum punch. Overall this is the best trip we have taken like this and definitely would do it again. The staff is what made it over the top! Thank you David, Kevin Hart, and George!!

This was an absolutely phenomenal experience. The service was superb, fresh fruit, guacamole and drinks fresh amd tasty. The crew was knowledgeable and supportive to those that lacked swimming abilities. Lots of information to keep us safe shared and customer service was top of the line. Super fun and most importantly the boat was NOT crowded with a cap of 16 people. WE LOVED IT!!!!+++

Our family of 5 (adult kids) loved this excursion! I highly recommend Happy Fish!! The boat crew was fun, helpful, and so nice. Fun time snorkeling and seeing the fish, a diving board and slide on board. Chips, salsa, guacamole and fresh fruit were served. Drinks of all sorts. There were 2 other families with smaller children and they appeared to be having a wonderful time as well!

Niño, Michel, and Freddy made this an unforgettable trip. We booked a Catamaran with a family of 8. Drinks were included and plentiful. Freddy made us delicious, homemade guacamole. Niño was a fantastic guide. The snorkeling was great. Book this, you won’t regret it.
