We had Marina as our guide and she was great! We went on several different tours in Italy and my adult kids said she was their favorite tour guide! I agreed! She not only gave historical facts but brought them to life. Being able to enter into the Colosseum was stress free and we bypassed the masses waiting in line. Seeing the underground was also very interesting. We would not hesitate to recommend Marina and this tour to our friends.

Our guides were wonderful with our multigenerational family. Rosie shared lots of information that kept my kids engaged. Very glad to have had the experience of going underground and onto the arena floor.

BEST TOUR OF OUR TRIP!

Luigi was an actual archeologist and took us on a great tour thru the Forums up Palatine Hill and into the underground tour of the Coliseum.

Other Rome attractions are nice but nothing compares to the majesty of the Coliseum.

Worth the money to upgrade.

What a great experience!! We went down into colosseum and learned about the animals and gladiators. We also learned about the history of the different groups of people that used the Colosseum or lived there. We didn’t know that the Roman form is also included in this experience.

Our tour guide Denis Pasolini was stellar and showed us every part of the Colosseum, and Forum, which was just fantastic. He was very knowledgeable and was able to explain every part of of the Colosseum and how it was utilized back in the day!
We couldn’t have learned more and I was just a excellent day ‼️

When I booked this tour little did I know what an enriching experience it would be. The Colosseum is amazing. It was exciting walking in the same places the Gladiator’s and thousands of ancient people walked. Our guide had a gift of bringing all of it to life. We marveled at the construction elements that were impressive for its time. The history of the people that brought the Games to the people. The Gladiator’s and all they represent. I loved seeing all of it! Most of all, I loved that our guide, Elenoroa. She was able to help us feel what it might have been like to experience the magnificence of it all. Her love and passion for Rome, it’s history and art make her an amazing guide.

The Colosseum Underground private tour was amazing. Francisco was the best tour guide. She taught us all about the known history of the Colosseum, and how the gladiators, and underground pathways worked. Highly recommend.

This tour was a disappointment. Our tour guide was knowledgeable however we paid for the private underground tour and at the last minute were told that the tour company could not obtain tickets. They did offer a slight discount however the only reason we selected this particular tour was when we toured the colosseum previously the underground was not opened or an option. So basically we saw the same tour for a second time. Our guide was ok but we really didn’t learn anything new on this tour that we hadn’t heard on a previous tour. If you’ve never toured the colosseum then I would recommend you go.
