Upon arrival in Flam, a charming village surrounded by precipitous mountainsides and rumbling waterfalls, take a stroll through the picturesque town center or visit the Flam Railway Museum.

Continue the tour and board the Flåm Railway, one of the world's steepest railway tracks on regular tracks. Enjoy the panoramic view of Norway's most magnificent mountains and pass by the famous Kjosfossen waterfall on the 20-kilometer-long train journey.

At Myrdal change to the Bergen Railway to Voss, and then a bus back to Bergen where the tour started.

1. Tvindefossen
Tvindefossen is a waterfall near Voss on the road to Flåm. The many-stranded 110 meters high waterfall is formed by a small stream, the Kroelvi, tumbling over a receding cliff. It is famous for its beauty and many stop here to admire it. In the late 1990s the water at Tvindefossen acquired a reputation for rejuvenation and revival of sexual potency that made it one of the most important natural tourist attractions in western Norway, with as many as 200,000 people a year from the U.S., Japan and Russia visiting and filling containers with the water. At one point it was Norway's ninth most visited natural attraction, with 272,000 visitors.
2. Stalheimskleiva
The small village of Stalheim lies along the highway in the northeastern part of the Voss municipality. The village sits at a high point in the inner part of the Nærøydal valley which leads northeastwards towards the Nærøyfjorden. The highway runs through a series of tunnels to descend into the valley. The Stalheimsfossen waterfall is the most notable sight in the area and the amazing view from Stalheim hotel is well-known from several paintings.
3. Naeroyfjord
The Nærøyfjord is a narrow fjord in the municipality of Aurland in Sogn og Fjordane county and is a branch of the large Sognefjord. The 18-kilometre (11 mi) long fjord is only 250metres (800 ft) wide in some parts. The river Nærøydalselvi flows down the valley Nærøydalen into the fjord at the village of Gudvangen. Since 2005, the Nærøyfjord has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, and it has also been rated by National Graphic Society as the world's number one natural heritage site.

Aurlandsfjord flows through the municipalities of Auland, Vik and Lærdal. The 29-kilometre (18 mi) long fjord is a branch off of the main Sognefjorden, Norway's longest fjord. The fjord is deep and narrow, reaching a depth of about 962 metres (3,156 ft) and its width is generally less than 2 kilometres (1.2 mi) wide. About 11 kilometers (6.8 mi) south of the mouth of the fjord, the Nærøyfjord branches off from it to the west. The village of Flåm sits at the innermost part of the Aurlandsfjord; other villages along the fjord are Aurlandsvangen and Undredal. Most of the fjord is surrounded by up to 1,800-metre (5,900 ft) tall, steep mountains with little habitation along the fjord except for in a few small valleys.

Flåm Railway is a 20.2-kilometer (12.6 mi) long railway line between Flåm and Myrdal. A branch line of the Bergen Line, it runs through the valley of Flåmsdalen and connects the mainline with Sognefjorden. The line's elevation difference is 866 meters (2,841 ft); it has ten stations, twenty tunnels and one bridge. The maximum gradient is 5.5 percent (1:18). Because of its steep gradient and picturesque nature, the Flåm Line is now almost exclusively a tourist service and has become the third-most visited tourist attraction in Norway. Construction of the line started in 1924, with the line opening in 1940. It allowed the district of Sogn access to Bergen and Oslo via the Bergen Line. Electric traction was taken into use in 1944.
6. Kjosfossen Waterfall
Kjosfossen waterfall is one of the most visited tourist attractions in Norway. Its total fall is around 225 metres (738 ft). There is a small power station on the waterfall which is used to power the Flåm Line railway.
7. Myrdal Station
The Bergen Railway is a 496 kilometres (308 mi) long scenic standard gauge railway line between Bergen and Oslo. It is the highest mainline railway line in Northern Europe, crossing the Hardangervidda plateau at 1,237 metres (4,058 ft) above sea level. The railway opened from Bergen to Voss in 1883 as the narrow Voss gauge line. In 1909 the route was continued over the mountain to Oslo and the whole route converted to standard gauge and the Voss Line became part of the Bergen Line. The line is single track and was electrified in 1954-64. The Flåm Railway remains as the only branch line, after the closure of the Hardanger Line.

We loved our guide, Princess! She gave us lots of tips about Bergen and great information on Norway in general. This tour gives you a wonderful glimpse of what a beautiful country Norway is. Loved the boat trip and the Flam railroad. Princess kept us all on time and moving along. All in all a perfect day!

Truly heartbreakingly disappointing, due to an error on the tour company's side, they cancelled the Fjord tour and the way it was handled was so poor and sad, the most beautiful train ride of the world turned into just a disappointing, uncomfortable and angry ride.

Our objective in Norway - Bergen was to get to know the beautiful Fjords. Tripadvisor advertised this company and this tour because supposedly is the best. For us, the Fjords was the main attraction, anything else was a side bonus.
So taking into account the reviews and the information from the tours we planned our journey to Bergen, staying long enough for this. Mistakes happen but a company of this caliber with these reviews and so broadly promoted by Tripadvisor, should've had a contingency plan or at least proper compensation for the huge disappointment.
Before the Fjord tour started, we were made to wait before boarding the ship. Were we made to a couple of hours standing up in the rain, cold and without any feedback whatsoever about the situation, after waiting we were told by the guide that the ship is not working so the fjord trip it's cancelled and we'd be getting some of the trip money back and some "compensation".

Beware of booking this company and trusting them with your precious time in Bergen, after the ship broke, heading back on the Flam railway was just a disappointing experience with every other patron on board equally upset and annoyed.

In the end, we didn't even get half the money back and there was no compensation whatsoever. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Great tour guide and bus driver. Fantastic coverage of many key sites and views in a very full day. Beat many of the crowds thanks to our clever guides - arriving earlier and getting great tips on best seats etc. Highly recommended.

There were 22 people in the tour and the bus was full. This made the transportation to and from Voss (over 1.5 hours each way from Bergen ) very uncomfortable!

The bus ride was uncomfortable. The train ride on the way home should have taken us to Bergen instead of getting back on the bus. Our guide was great.

This was the BEST part of our visit to Bergen! The tour was well coordinated from start to finish! The tour guides were super nice and helpful and did everything possible to make it a perfect experience for us. We were traveling with a 2 year old and the tour went pretty smooth. We never felt rushed and enjoyed every bit of the bus ride, cruise ride, and train ride!

The guide, named Princess was fabulous and sweet. The fjord cruise, flam railway was all fun and gorgeous. The problem is the bus!! The seats were so small you bump others. No leg room, incredibly uncomfortable. And you’re on it for four hours!! Plus I checked the tires that had no tread left. Not safe!! They thought they had a flat tire they were so low on air. What a dump! It made a gorgeous trip low class.
