No matter what cruise ship you arrive on, this is the perfect do-it-yourself shore excursion in Barcelona. This double-decker open-top bus tour can be met at the Port of Barcelona (Port Olímpic - stop 6), which is a 15-minute walk from the cruise terminals. A hop-on hop-off tour is the best way for cruise passengers to get around the city. Get a bird's-eye view of the cobbled medieval streets of Las Ramblas, discover the Port Olímpic beachfront promenade, see the famous F.C. Barcelona Football Stadium and much more.
You can hop on and off the tour as many times as you like aboard this sliding-roof double-decker bus. There are two tour routes, the East Route and the West Route, and they are interconnected so you can easily hop between them to discover the best of Barcelona while your ship is in port. Your ticket is valid on BOTH routes.

Nice bus ride giving us a good introduction on Barcelona with the green and orange routes. We enjoyed it . It would have been even better if the bus could have gone in front of some of Gaudi master pieces aside from La Sagrada Familia .

This hop on tour would not have been my choice had I waited to schedule when I got to the city. There’s a blue bus called bus touristic. There were twice as many buses running, in better condition and never any long lines. I won’t be dealing with Viator anymore due to poor customer service. You don’t need to buy these tickets ahead of time get them there.

Buses on time and covered most important tourist spots. Eat plugs worked and information was sufficient. Cost effective.

For me too little information was given about the tourist attractions. The information on the app regarding the information on when the next bus arrives was often wrong.

I would not recommend purchasing this in advance at this port. There are multiple hop-on-hop-off bus companies in Barcelona and we were not able to locate this particular bus company. You can purchase tickets easily enough once you get out of the port.

What a good inexpensive way to get around the city. Very organized hopping in the bus in major stops. I love the audio narrative tour, as well.

This is a great way to experience Barcelona especially for first time visitors. Covers a broad area of the city and attractions. Allows everyone to see areas they want to explore more. We rode this clear thru the route and made our plan for the week of what attractions we wanted to spend more time exploring.

This trip is not worth the money and is a waste of time!
We spent 2 hours looking for a pick up point as the first five we went to we’re not operational due to an event in Barcelona!!
Be aware that there are traffic lights approximately every 100 meters so your day will be spent sat in traffic
We were abandoned 3 km from where we expected to finish due to the bus finishing at 7pm
It’s a gigantic con!!!
Get some comfortable walking shoes and use the metro!!!!!
We will never use a hop on hop bus again!!!!

We bought the 48 hours passes and toured both the East and West routes. Both routes are quite large and one really needs time to hop off and on in order to visit attractions. I would say 1/2 day for each loop.
Things went well except we hope the announcer at each stop would clearly/ slowly say the stop's name in English before the bus took off again.

We choose the 2 day package, but day 2 was a race day (I didn't realize that), so we didn't get to tour the second day. All in all it was a good experience.
