We loved the palace and the tour! Money well spent to be able to skip the lines and see everything. Our tour guide was good and even though we were in a group, we were able to walk ahead at our own pace if we chose to and then pause to wait for the group. Highly recommend!

The Royal Palace is beautiful but didn’t have a good tour guide. It appears that She wasn’t fluent in English or Spanish. Also would not talk into the microphone even though we reminded her constantly. Also would have liked to hear more about the artwork- paintings in the Palace.

Tour guide was forgettable. She mixed her facts up a few times, eg interchangeably calling the current king of Spain “Felipe V” and “Felipe IV”. It was difficult to understand the guide’s English and Spanish. Tour guide did not have a good grip on the group, leaving us behind often with little care; makes me wonder if this was her first tour.

This was supposed to be a monolingual (English) tour but somehow became a multilingual tour (English + Spanish). The tour guide did a good job but it was not a good experience for us to sometimes hear one language and sometimes another.

This tour was fantastic. The tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and very clear. We learned a lot about the royal family of Spain while having fun as well.

Good your the palace was beautiful, the guide did a great job navigating the crowds. No fault of our guide but the palace staff did not seem very organized.
