Our tour guide was super friendly and supportive. The ability to pull over and take pics whenever we wanted was awesome! Strongly recommend this adventure!

What an adventure we had, it was amazing.
We chose Mauisunriders (due to reviews we read) and so happy we did. THEY DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!
The day was beautiful to start ☀️. Johnny was a great tour guide, very personable, friendly and a wealth of knowledge. They go over everything in detail. Take you up the volcano, share lots of facts and info about the island.
Bikes where in great share. They were all fitted to us personally and the ride down was awesome. Pretty views and the easiest ride ever. You really don’t have to pedal. 😊🤣
First stop, they pick you up and then drop you at HANAMU RD with a cute little town and lots of shops and dinning and you bike the rest of the way into Paia. Another cute little town with lots of yummy restaurants and shopping.
Over all it was a great day. A fun experience with lots of beautiful views, a great tour guide (JOHNNY)
Lots of Delicious food options, shopping and a fun and easy bike ride.

This is in no way a knock on Maui Sunriders. The company is great and operating within the confines of the law. This is not a great ride any longer nor would I list it as a must do on Maui. We did this back in 2021 after Covid and we could not wait to do it again when we just revisited. Big money special interests and lawmakers banned tour companies from operating the middle 7 miles of the trip (best part) rendering this more of a 20 min switchback ride at the top and a relatively uninteresting town drop off bottom remainder ride. More time was spent in the van than riding a bike. What was almost a 2.5 hour ride is now maybe 45 mins. I feel the operating companies should say a new law was passed in Feb 2023 and tell people this is not even close to the same experience if you did it prior but understand why they don’t. IMO It’s not worth the price!! About $500 for family of 4. Rent a bike and hire someone to drive you up. You won’t regret it. They’re out to cripple the tour companies and we all suffer.

The company and our guide were fantastic. The ride isn’t so great. Can’t go to the top, can’t ride the middle portion. Seemed like we were barely on our bikes

The one thing that stood out for us was our guide Dane. Very nice young man with a great attitude. Kept everyone engaged. The bikes and all the equipment the team provided us were top notch. The tour itself was exhilarating. Th e bikes felt safe. The road was smooth Would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun activity to do with the family

Outstanding views and the ride was very pleasant. The staff was engaging and helpful, especially at the half- way stop.
Only feedback- original meet time was listed as 0800, but that changed to 0845 in the days before the session.
