I have been a long time diver and was very excited to bring my two daughters, 12 & 16, out on their first Discovery Dive trip. Abbi was amazing and made my girls feel very comfortable and they loved their dive. Mala pier is the perfect place to take any new dive because the marine life is plentiful and the clarity is perfect. They are hook and will now get certified. Thank you Abbi & Dive Maui!

My two adult daughters (both mid-20s) had done a few dives in their teens in Europe but never were PADI certified. We did the Discover Scuba dive together on the Wharf and it was perfect! Probably saw 30 turtles- many within arms reach. 2 sharks as well. Joe did a great job refreshing my daughters on their skills before we went down- superb instructor and patient with beginners but not overly controlling. I’ve been diving in Egypt, Mexico, Spain, and Oahu and this was on par or better than all four.

I can't write a more positive review...I am 38 and this was my first time diving. I went along with my brother and brother-in-law for the discover scuba diving class. After a 30 minute class at the shop with our guide Joe we put on our wetsuits and gear and made a walk down to the beach and into the water. First off, the conditions were prefect and also the dive site was along an old pier that had fallen into the water so you had natures beauty and also some history. Our guide, Joe, knows his stuff, he is super calm and collected and probably has spent more time below water than above it. You can tell he genuinely enjoys what he does. We saw sharks, turtles, and countless fish. Yes, it is scary to go under water and do what you shouldn't do...breathe, but, after 10 mins of settling in, you can really start to relax and notice how amazing the experience is. Highly recommend the shop, the guides and the intro package. One of the top experiences I have had on the island. Thank you Maui Dive for your hospitality.

Our instructor Joe was very professional, friendly, patient and helpful as this was our first time doing scuba. We had a great and long tour of the reef he showed us. We saw several turtles, schools of fish and an eel. Would totally recommend this for anyone who wants to try scuba or just get a good tour of the reef.

We had 2 discover divers and 3 certified divers. We did dives on Monday and Friday. Joe and Chris were awesome with our younger discover divers. Very knowledgable and kind. Awesome group to dive with, can't recommend them enough! Thanks for a great trip!

The worst place ever owner is very rude and basically stole my $300 for their own mistake and I never received the service I paid for!!! Never was refunded either!!

Our instructor Joe was very professional and very informative. Felt safe to sign up the kids for diving . Kids said this was the best experience they had in Maui. So yes, I would definitely recommend Joe for your scuba diving.

We did my 11 year olds first dive with Brooke. Not only was she incredibly knowledgeable and very safe, she was patient, friendly, kind and gentle in the process. She was excited about diving and pass that excitement onto my daughter who is now thrilled to become certified. Once the dive shop opens up again, I would highly recommend booking anything with Brooke. We couldn't recommend more highly.
