We had the best time! First you met your group at a bar where they brought out the masks to choose from and large bottles of beer to share. The guide told us about Lucha Libre and answered questions. Then we walked to a taco place and ate our fill along with sodas and water. The tacos were good, not great, but you could eat as many as you wanted. Then we walked to the arena. It was fun being surrounded by locals who were very passionate about the events. The only negative was the exit, we lost track of our group and walked back to the meetup place on our own before leaving in an uber. Highly recommend this experience!

We met our guide, Gabriel, at the appointed time at a taqueria, where we had delicious food and tasted his family's mezcal. Gabriel is a personable guy who clearly loves Lucha Libre. He enthusiastically explained to us what we would see. We had a fun group of fellow tourists to enjoy the experience with. We made the short walk to the arena and took in the spectacle. This is a cultural experience more than anything, and it's worth the time to see it.

The experience was so much fun, the bar where we did the Mezcal tasting had a cool vibe and was in an interesting part of town. The tacos were delicious and the Lucha Libre match was a blast. The tour was well planned and our guide was very nice and knowledgeable. Highly recommend, especially for the price.

I was able to experience this with two of my good friends and other fellow travelers. We had a great time learning about the history of lucha libre while enjoying some great tacos and mezcal! I learned a new way of drinking mezcal with green tomatoes seasoned with chicatana salt, which was awesome. Sundays aren't as busy as the other days, but we were able to have close seats and take a picture at ringside.

If you want to save money buy a ticket to the Lucha Libre show for 200 pesos or pay 900 pesos for an amazing time! I ate tacos and drank Mezcal with fellow travelers and learned a lot about the history of Lucha Libra from a local. It was worth it! The arena is around the corner from Mendoza Taqueria. (Meeting pt). Sundays are less busier than Friday shows. I enjoyed the matches. Wear your mask and enjoy! I felt safe attending the 4 pm show as a female. I took the bus for 5 pesos to the Cadillac hotel.

Gabriel, our guide, was excellent in explaining the intricacies of the lucha libre. Trying mezcal at a local bar and eating delicious tacos from a food truck gave us an insight and feel of being a local. All in all a very fun and highly recommended experience!
