I am in awe with the experience we had today with this amazing team! We were given very clear instructions on how to get to the studio and immediately attended to with beautiful silk kimonos. Our photographer was very patient and engaging! I give this experience 100/100! I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have professional photos in a beautiful kimono, that is professionally draped as well.

We were met punctually and taken to the studio. English speaking was excellent. Everything was prepared and I had a good choice of Kimonos to wear.

The whole experience was exceptional. The communication was great with clear instructions on where to locate the entrance. Experiencing the inside of a typical Japanese building. Absolutely riverside location. But most importantly, a professional and friendly couple who did the dressing, hair and photography. Absolutely loved it.
If I really had to change anything, I would recommend that the photos are provided on a USB instead of an SD card.
Highly recommended this experience.

This was such a great experience. We booked our Kimono Photo Shoot through Viator. We were looking for more than just a kimono rental.
The studio is located close to the famous Asakusa shrine. On the day and time of our photo-shoot, we were met in front of the building by Aya. She escorted us upstairs to the studio. We were introduced to our photographer, Jiro.
Right from the start both made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. They allowed us to choose our kimono styles and provided help when needed.
Both Aya and Jiro meticulously dressed us in the kimonos we chose for ourselves. We took several individual shots and couple shots in various poses. The photo shoot lasted one hour.
Aya took some impromptu photos and videos for us, which we appreciated as the final photos are provided on a memory card.
We highly recommend this event to anyone that wants to have photos of themselves wearing traditional Japanese kimonos.
Additional to the Kimono shoot, the studio also provides Samurai Training and Oiran/Geisha Experience.
Please note that the uploaded shots are from our iPhone, and NOT the final images that were taken with a professional digital SLR.

Such amazing, professional and polite staff, they were all so attentive. We received messages from the staff to confirm ages, genders, heights, weights and names and we were messaged the day before with great directions. We were met in front of the building by staff and escorted to a larger location since we had 6 people. Great experience, great selection of outfits, just a phenomenal experience.

We arrived early and was excitingly accommodated by the photoshoot team. It is a short walk from Asakusa Station. They are efficient and waste no time and dressing us up. The photoshoot was fun and would highly recommend this itinerary to everyone. It was raining and we ask them for food recommendation after the shoot and they gladly show us the way to a tantanmen shop. Overall I will rate the experience at 5/5 stars the price 5/5 stars, the photoshoot team is 10/5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The photographer was absolutely amazing to work with. They took very good care of putting every item on you then your hair is done, accessories are selected before the pictures. it is a little bit hard to find but they had written my name on a board outside a shoe store.
