Start your evening cruising along the calm waters of Lake Wakatipu from Queenstown on board the TSS Earnslaw, a 1912 vintage steam ship, to arrive at Walter Peak Country Farm. Enjoy a gourmet BBQ buffet dinner in the Colonel's Homestead, as the resident pianist provides background music during dinner. On cooler nights, the open fire creates a cozy atmosphere. After dinner, you have the option to watch a farm show or relax in the bar before returning to Queenstown on the TSS Earnslaw.

We had a wonderful day on the steamship with a delicious lunch at Walter Peak. The farm show was very entertaining and informative. The dogs were lovely!!

Views spectacular on boat, dinner excellent, farmhand show educational and entertaining. The staff were efficient and the whole evening ran smoothly. Very worthwhile experience. Highly recommend

Can recommend this trip. Relaxing boat ride to Walter Peak station. Followed by a wonderful dinner. So much to choose from. Delicious food and BBQ meats followed by great selection of desserts. Then we had an enjoyable display of a eye dog working and a sheep being crutche and belly shawn off. Worth the money for sure.

A very memorable experience. A must whenever visiting Queenstown. Lots of choices in the buffet and very serene place to dine in.

The dinner was absolutely wonderful, with a wide array of options to choose from that cater to every palate. The highlight of the evening was definitely the entertaining sheep shearing, adding a unique and memorable touch to the overall experience. Highly recommend this enjoyable boat trip and dinner experience!

The Homestead was beautifully lit up like a fairyland. We were blown away by the sight and atmosphere. Good was very good too.

Thoroughly enjoyable tour. The cruise was relaxing and the food at the farm was sensational.
We also got to see some sheep mustering and shearing. Highly recommend.

and easy cruise on Earnslaw, dog / sheep shearing demo was a good way to finish trip but the food was the reason you go, absolutely. Choice and quality of food was great.

I was there with a large group for their evening BBQ dinner. The range and qualiry of food was impressive. There would have been 250 people seated but there were minimal delays. It was help yourself for as much as you can eat. That often means average qualiry but not in this case. I can recommend this experience via the Earnslaw.
