In the middle of the heart and soul of downtown Oaxaca in a cosy and traditional place, we will taste 7 type moles and seven different Mezcales. The tasting contains all the educational values of a Sommelier wine tasting, as well as the space to ask all you want. The Mezcales that you will try are carefully selected as they differentiate the characteristics of the different Agaves: Espadin, Cuishe, Madre Cuishe, Tobala, Tepeztate, Coyte and a blend of Tobala and Tepeztate. Its is an educational and pleasant-tasting paired with a different mole for each mezcal.
Ask and discuss your impressions, share and meet people that want to enjoy the Mezcal experience at a different level.

Daniel is a perfect host with a really tasteful knowledge about mezcal as well as the local cuisine. The place was well selected, a green oasis.
I didn't know before, that there are so many different and amazing flavors of mezcal. Together with the paired moles fresh from the restaurant's traditional kitchen it became a kind of artwork. I really enjoyed the event and would highly recommend it!

Magnificent! I can't say enough great things about Daniel and this experience. Even if you have some knowledge in mezcal, you will still learn a lot about process and flavor. I came to learn more about mole, and Daniel and Ancestral didn't disappoint. Conversations ranged from criollo ingredients, to Mexican wine, Oaxaca cuisine and culture and so much more. Truly an amazing evening

This experience is lacking absolutely nothing! The pairing of the moles and mezcal was awesome:the amount of the servings is just right, enough for you to enjoy the tasting and the surprise prepared! The place where it takes place is super charming; it sets the mood for spending a great time. Plus, Daniel really knows what he's talking about: learning both about the origins and variaties of mezcal and the importance of such when we talk Mexican and Oaxaca culture was really interesting and fantastically enlightening. Favorites: the complementary cocktail (sooo refreshing!) and the passion of Daniel. You cannot miss this if you are in Oaxaca!
