A place with more than
we could access in one visit so we decided 5 things we wanted to see BEFORE we entered. We were successful, fulfilled and noted some new items as well. Don’t miss the rooftop cafe with magnificent views.

Uffizi Gallery is well worth the visit. There's amazing art and history within those walls. It's a must-see while in Florence.

Not sure if this is the operator that canceled and refunded our tickets. we booked this activity through TripAdvisor and then Viator. Very disappointing. Although it takes a little more work to negotiate the Uffizi Florence website you can book your ticket online and go directly to the number one entrance at the Uffizi for about half the price.

I LOVED this museum so much! I spent 4 hours at my own pace (I paid the 6euros for the audio tour which was worth it). I tried listening to the free Rick Steves one but quickly rejected that as the tone of the narration was super annoying). The museum is laid out chronologically and I enjoyed seeing how one thing influenced the next and you really got a feel for the collective learning across cultures and generations, and from masters to students (ie Lippi to Botticelli) The works are truly exquisite. It also was a quick line to get in.

Excellent Guide. Covered the highlights of the Uffizi in an interesting and comprehensible way in about an hour and a half. Our party ranged in age from 19 to 86 and everyone enjoyed and learned a lot from the tour.

Unfortunately we were in a traffic jam on the highway into Florence yesterday morning. We didn’t move at all for over an hour. We got to the museum shortly after 1200 and the tour person had left. We called and were given directions to walk to the tour office to get our tickets but the directions didn’t work for us and we never made it to the museum. Is it possible to obtain any kind of refund from Viator?

First, there is plenty of seating along the way. Second, it can take 3 hours or 10 depending on your level of interest. Third, the way I saw it, the museum is divided into 5 parts, the first being mostly religious, sculpture and ancient portraiture. Michaelangelo and Da Vinci among the artists. However, if you are not careful, you can spend so much time in A that you are either too tired or you've run out of time for B through E. And they are very good sections. One of my favorites was the section with self portraits. It was interesting to see how painters view themselves. Finally, if children, up through 18, I think, are accompanying you, they are FREE. Don't buy them a ticket.
