Tour started 45 minutes late.
Burano was great!
The Murano glass making tour was about 2 hours, but the demonstration was only 5 minutes. So almost 2 hours of the tour was just sitting outside in heat. T

Flavia our tour guide was lovely and lively. The Murano experience was very commercial and a bit touristy for our taste. Burano was much more charming with more free time to get a bite and do some local shopping and browsing.

The islands themselves were beautiful and wonderful to see. However, the tour guide was not concerned with all members of the group. She walked extremely fast and multiple guests were struggling to keep up. At Murano, she told us where to meet and then left the meeting point early which caused a lot of confusion. She was ready to leave the island while leaving 5 people behind. We forced her to wait for the rest of the group to get to the boat.

We didn’t make bit as there were no instructions of how to find the pick up and they left although I called for instructions of how to get there

What a lovely tour, Burano is a hidden little gem! Our guide was knowledgeable about all aspects of the Venice lagoon, not just the island, and pointed out very interesting little facts along our journey.

Our guide Alicia is so passionate about Venice and all of her treasures, that she really made Murano and Burano come alive for us. She told us the history of the islands and surrounding areas, and even shared recommendations for us on our free time. I couldn’t have imagined a better experience.

Easy tour to see the islands and enjoy with younger kids. Tour guides were very friendly. Glass blowing and lace making were interesting to see and there was free time to enjoy the islands.
