Patricia was very down to earth and showed us very non touristy spots in a cute area called Chueca where we started. She didn’t go to the touristy mercado but took us to a local one. She has had an interesting life and I feel like we have known her for much longer than 2 1/2 hours.

Ari was the best guide! She made the tour feel so personal and actually got to know us. It was great being able to go around Madrid with someone who knows all the ins and outs. She was kind and answered all our questions. It felt like Ari was a close friend that we just visited in Madrid. She did not rush us while we were eating and made sure we had plenty of restroom breaks and took our time walking through the streets of Madrid. She was a 10/10 guide and would specifically look for her again next time we come to Madrid! Thank you, Ari!

Ari’s tour was amazing. She made us feel less like clients and more like friends visiting from out of town. We could tell that all the places she took us to were places she really liked and appreciated herself. She’s a passionate ambassador for her home city and we instantly fell in love with Madrid through her eyes and heart.

Eva showed us delicious tappas and drinks in the heart of Madrid. We were told a lot about the history and she took us on a walk through the center. A fantastic start to our holiday

This tour was superb. Julian is a very personable guy who took us to places we would never have known about including a superb historic tavern that makes its own Vermouth.
Investing for three hours with him was absolutely value for money.

This was the Worst tour ever! Do not waste your money. Be aware this starts in the alternative section of Madrid, there are 6 ft penis posters. For 4 people we were only given 2 small drinks (3oz) during the tour- 4 stops , we had to ask/pay for water. The “tasting” were small plates, 8 total in 3 spots. All but 2 were terrible- one was pig blood sausage- the last stop was a fast food tapas place- the guide was terrible. No personality, she didn’t eat or drink and lectured about alcohol and sugary food- she even went off about how she hated “fat people” this tour was not fun- one stop was a church for homeless and addicts- which is sweet- but not on a Taste of Madrid Tour. Please do not book this tour- it is not worth it!

Madrid is a beautiful city where its history is showcased with the food they serve. We had an amazing tour learning about the food, why the various dishes were so popular while getting to try a multitude of new flavors! We had an absolute blast!
