This cooking class and market tour are our most popular offering. Together, the tour and the class take approximately four hours. The tour starts with accompanying our chefs to the world famous La Boqueria market, located nearby. During this 'behind the scenes' guided tour, you will meet many vendors, some of whom have been there for generations. You will learn about locally grown products and participate in the selection of ingredients that will be used later in the cooking class. Upon returning to our kitchen, you will begin preparing the four course menu. All our classes are designed for every skill level and are taught by professionally trained bilingual chefs. The classes provide a fun, social, hands-on experience, where you will be participating in the preparation of the various dishes under the thoughtful guidance of our chef instructors. Unlimited wines are included. All our menus can be adapted to accommodate any food restriction you may have, vegan included.

“Amazing Juan” took us to the market and we shopped to purchase fresh food and got us tastes at some of the vendors along the way. Then back to the kitchen to make the most delicious meal!! Great people, great food. Our best experiences in Barcelona.

I went solo to this class and had a wonderful time. Juan gave us a fun and informative tour of the market which included a sampling of ham!
The class was fun with each of us (we were 12) taking a different job. It was fun and casual and the meal, and wine, was amazing!!
I can't wait to try some of the recipes on my own when I get home.
Highly recommend for anyone! Kids, families, partners. There's something for everyone.

An amazing experience. Definitely our favorite day of our trip. I learned a lot, but most of all I felt like our group became a little family who were all pitching in to make a big holiday meal. Plenty of good wine too.

Lovely tour of the market! The cooking class was very hands on. We all loved it - myself, my husband, my 12 and 16 year olds. My kids were the only kids in the group of 12 but we put them on a vegetable chopping station (not the shrimp deveining station haha) and they did great. Plenty of food and wine. Juan was a lively and gracious host. Highly recommend!

This was a much anticipated activity that we planned during our trip to Spain and it did not let us down!! Renata was an excellent chef and instructor from the start of the event when we traveled to the market to purchase the ingredients all the way through the dessert. It was great to meet people from all over the world and we enjoyed working with all of them in a very small group. I would definitely recommend this activity to anyone wanted to try something new while visiting the amazing city of Barcelona!!

Preparing the food and then eating it. We had a lot of fun, We were 5 in our group and each of us took part in preparing our lunch, as well as the other people in the group. Sonia was a great instructor the facilities were top notch and the food was delicious.
It is a fun experience to do when you want a break from sight seeing. I highly recommend this activity.

Very enjoyable communal meal preparation. Small children were included in the class and warmly treated. The recipes and techniques are accessible and practical. This was a very fun experience.

Took a group of teens to the Amazing Juan, who taught us how to prepare traditional Spanish dishes. The kids did all the work. They had a blast, is adults had a blast. If you travel to Barcelona, this needs to be on your itinerary.

We spend our day cooking with the magazine Juan. He was engaging, inclusive, and most amazing to everyone including my two children (16 & 13). He made the day so fun. Our lunch was so delicious and our time in his kitchen was so memorable. Thank you.
