The contact with nature and with truffle dogs makes it a unique experience of its kind. It is very fun and special.

Such a cool experience! Fabio, his daughter & their two dogs were incredible! They shared so much information about truffles and truffle hunting and let us be hands on from the start. We found over 12 truffles and they even left us with a very sweet gift at the end!

we booked a tour for 5pm and were then notified well in advance that the time had changed to 2.30pm as they had another booking come through, which was fine, but we were told to be prompt with the time. The weather forecast leading up to the date of the tour said thunderstorms for days before hand, and also on the morning of the tour. We arrived at the meeting point at 1.40pm and waited. No one showed, so i checked my emails and i had got an email at 1pm to say the tour was cancelled due to the weather. This was never enough notice to cancel. I had not time to re book or arrange an alternative experience so it wasted our whole day. The tour guide said it was because he had tried to call me but i gave the wrong number. I explained that i didnt give a wrong number and that I had informed him I didnt have a mobile number. You cannot just assume everyone has a mobile number. Its not his fault the weather was bad, but you should give people more notice if you are going to cancel, just check the forecast!

Mirco & Fabio & their dogs were great! Fantastic way to learn about how truffles grow and are found, in the stunning forests and countryside. Everyone who wanted to got to try hunting; it was fast-paced and you had to watch the dogs every second! Once in a lifetime experience that we all loved (and our group ranged from 6 to 80)!

What a wonderful experience!! We went truffle hunting in Tuscany with Luca and Mirco and their three dogs Stella, Zara, and Zoro. Several people told us that there weren't many truffles this year because of lack of rain. The truffle hunt was kind of a leisurely walk in the Tuscan woods, with Mirco explaining in detail all about truffles and the art of finding them. It was leisurely, that is, until the dogs got the scent, and then "leisurely" turned into "excitement." We actually did find some truffles, but the thing that impressed me most was seeing the affection between the owners and the dogs. The dogs were doing what they were taught to do and enjoying every minute of it.. This was fun and exciting for them. They got praised and rewarded with treats. This was a great experience and I would highly recommend it. I would do it again myself.
