You will never see the Amalfi Coast like this! You will discover the Amalfi Coast’s hidden delights and breathtaking views from a typical Amalfitan Gozzo boat, thanks to the comprehensive experience and knowledge of local captains and in a very small group (max 10 participants)!

The route to Positano will take us along Amalfi’s finest beaches as well as close to natural rock arches and into sea caves, giving us the opportunity to admire the old watch towers that dot the entire length of this coast.

We will pause at beaches reachable only by sea and have time to go snorkeling or swimming in crystal-clear waters and into grottos (snorkeling equipment provided by us).

Our boats are 8 to 10 meters (26.2 to 32.8 feet) Amalfi Coast "Gozzo", a very evocative and spacious type of boat original of this area and used by locals since ancient times.

All boats have a little bathroom that can be used in case of necessity during the breaks.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

WHAT TO EXPECT

1. Amalfi
Once everybody has jumped on board and had a little briefing about how we're going to spend the day, we will be ready to set off to the west towards Positano. The route will take us along Amalfi Coast’s finest beaches as well as close to natural rock arches and into sea caves, giving us the opportunity to admire the old watch towers that dot the entire length of this coast. We will pause at beaches reachable only by sea and have time to go snorkeling or swimming in crystal-clear waters and into grottoes. Not too far from the starting point, right after leaving the center of Amalfi, we will get close to the Saint Andrew Grotto, a huge natural sea cave full of stalactites named after the patron saint of Amalfi (Andrea). Then, once passed Duoglio and Santa Croce beaches, we will stop by the "Arc of Lovers", a natural rock arch created millions of years ago by the erosion of the sea whose shape recalls two elephants in the act of kissing. Up to not too long ago young couples used to get married on the top of it. A little later we will cruise in front of the ancient fishermen village of Conca dei Marini, passing near the villa of Sophia Loren and seeing the historic hotel “Il Saraceno” located on La Vite Beach.
2. Conca dei Marini
Conca dei Marini used to be an ancient fishermen village. Here we will have a beautiful view of Furore and Praiano villages and the islands of Li Galli and Capri, together with the well-known Faraglioni Rocks. Further inside this basin we will find the little Runghetiello Grotto and its tiny beach, where we will anchor for a break and to go swimming or snorkeling.
3. Fiordo Di Furore
Right after leaving Conca dei Marini village, we will reach then the famous Furore Fjord, the only natural fjord we have in Italy and location of the international diving competition "MarMeeting": every year in July, professional divers from around the world compete by jumping from the top of the bridge which is 28 meters high.
4. Praiano
Navigating little farther onward to the village of Praiano we will be able to have a close look of a bigger sea cave, the Africana Grotto, where the water has a distinctive blue color thanks to the unique refraction of light.
5. Positano
Finally we will go round Capo Sottile and continue cruising to Positano, where we will have another break for snorkeling at a beach reachable only by the sea and so not crowded at all: La Porta. The return trip to Amalfi will give us a different but equally remarkable view of both sea and land.

Very well organized and a great boat tour to see the coastline. We enjoyed the swimming stops and the drinks that we were served on the boat. Would definitely recommend this tour for anyone who loves to swim.

Such an amazing time! We had a group of 9 total. We stopped to snorkel and swim right away which was amazing because it was SO hot. We saw amazing spots like Fiordo di Furore which I had been wanting to see. We stopped at 2 different private beaches that we could swim to from the boat and jumped off of rocks into the water. Such an adventure. We were served as much drinks as we wanted & delicious melon. They had water, Prosecco, beer, limoncello. I would highly recommend this boat tour and would definitely do it again! Highlight of our trip to Amalfi!

The views were amazing. Snorkeling was better than I expected because the water is so clear. Swimming in the grotto was a unique experience. The limoncello was excellent too! The boat was very comfortable and our guide was fun.

Incredible boat tour of the Amalfi coast for a reasonable price. Not overly priced and price included snacks, champagne, and snorkel gear. Trip was from Amalfi to Positano and back. Stopped twice to swim/snorkel: once about halfway between Amalfi and Positano, and then again just outside of Positano. Overall great experience. Highly recommend. Would definitely do again when we go back!

Exceeded all my expectations, the boat was so comfortable, the music was a perfect mix of italian songs and recent hits and Georgia was so wonderful and kind, explaining things we saw along the coast and taking pictures of us to capture the memories. 10/10 so glad we booked with them.

It was the best trip during our stay in Amalfi. We stayed in Praiano and rented a scooter to visit Amalfi.

Parked the scooter near the Piazza Flavio Gioia ticket counter. This parking is cheaper and costs €4 during day and €3 during night. Do pay the parking otherwise they’ll tow it. The covered parking in Luna Rossa is €7 and maybe meant for cars.

The pickup point is right opposite Hotel Residence. They usually hold an orange umbrella or wear sth orange. We booked a 10 people tour private tour. Its better with less people since you can take pictures from all angles on the boat.

The skipper was friendly and witty. Chilled drinks are available on deck. Water, beer, coke etc. They also gave champagne and lemon cocktail post swimming stops.

Life jacket, foam floaties, and snorkels - everything was provided. We stopped twice for swimming and snorkelling. The aquatic life beneath was okay. Maybe that time of the year!

In a nutshell it was great. A shoutout again for the skipper.
