Really nice atmosphere with good Romania wines. Really nice host who was very passionated about the wines and provided a lot of information about them. We would definitely visit again next time we go to Bucharest!

We had an amazing time!
The wines were great and the snacks were perfect!
Paolo from Abel's Wine Bar was very knowledgeable about all the wines.
He was also very accommodating. He switched out a red for another white for me since I'm not really a fan of reds.
This long wine tasting is definitely worth it!

A truely excellent wine tasting, a great range of reds, whites, fizzy and even a dessert wine! All Romanian, low production bottles with local grapes and superb knowledge of the vineyards, history and locations. The snacks that came with the tasting were perfect, you can’t miss this if your in town!

Very helpful and knowledgeable presenter of the wines. Selected Romanian wines that were both unusual and interesting, not just the common or garden variety. Accompanied but some tasty nibbles. A great way to spend 1-2 hours.

We throughly enjoyed our wine tasting experience at Abel's. We were given two whites, one rose and two reds to try along with a generous cheeseboard. The servers were knowledgeable and clearly intent on ensuring that we had a great experience - which we did. The server even went out of his way to find one of us a red wine that we would enjoy more than those served as part of the tasting - that was much appreciated and he got it spot on! This was our first introduction to Romanian wine and we were surprised and impressed; although the industry is young it's clear that there are some good wines out there and more to come

I’m in the wine and travel industry and stopped at Abel’s to taste through the local wines during me stay in Bucharest. Dario was working that evening and expertly walked me through the grapes, regions and top producers (both large and small) making high quality wines. I learned a lot and tasted through an impressive array of wines. The shop is small, cute and perfect for spending an afternoon or evening with friends indoors or out as well. Abel’s also offered small plates and cheese boards, perfect with the wines. And the service is top notch! Dario and his team even packaged up wines I purchased to return them with me safely to the states. If you’re a wine geek like me, or simply want to enjoy a glass ... this is the place to do it in Bucharest!
