Knowledgable and friendly guide Cecil gave us well balanced info on the tour and allowed us time to ourselves whilst giving good info and was able to answer our questions.
Unbelievably sad, so many died and families were changed forever

Robert provided us with an informative overview of the history of sectarian troubles in Northern Ireland. We also toured key sites on both sides of the dividing line. We came away with a much better understanding of the tragic events that have occurred here.

This was the best tour and our tour guide, Jim was very knowledgeable and able to answer all of our questions. He was able to help us understand the issues and frustrations of the two populations, the Catholics and the Protestants and how the “Troubles” came to be and why. He drove us to many very interesting sights and explained each in detail and helped us understand their significance. Jim told us about other interesting sights within the city center, as well.

Absolute bucket list stuff .
This tour was absolutely superb .
Mark our guide was very informative and really told a neutral respectful analysis to the Belfast troubles
The information dates numbers was all fantastic.
I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better analysis .
This was definitely my favourite part of our trip
Mark is wonderful at what he does .
I couldn’t recommend these tours and mark highly enough

Well, I am not even too sure how to start….. from the beginning to the end was fantastic. Mark is a real treasure to have guided us through the history. My husband is deaf and Mark made such and effort to make sure he understood everything and even when he was asking too many questions he was patient and answered the questions with great detail, if you come to Belfast this is a real must and I highly recommend Mark as your guide.

Booked last minute (night before) for our final morning in Belfast. We were picked up at our accommodation with luggage and dropped off at our bus - perfect! Mark was a wonderful guide, very informative, lots of personal experiences woven in. We were behind schedule after taking a lot of time at one mural area - Mark let us know we were behind but did not rush through at all! Tour was booked for 90 min and went nearly an hour over. Appreciated Mark's candor and personal stories - all presented with neutrality. Highly recommend this tour with NI Black Taxi - very reasonable price and guaranteed in a hackney taxi, which was important for our 9 year old. Would never have seen or understood these parts of Belfast without out tour experience. Thank you Mark!!

Everything was first class...the taxi...our guide..the information.
First hand memories and instances..good photo opportunities.
We got dropped off in town without a hassle.

Excellent informative political tour of Belfast. Mark showed us many places in the Falls and Shanklin areas, and gave us plenty of time for looking around and questions. We came away with a real sense of how much has been achieved yet how little will change until the city stops continuing to divide.

Our driver/guide not only grew up in the troubled area but his family has lived there for generations and could provide valuable first hand insight into the issues and feelings of both sides. As well, he is an excellent student of history and was able to easily link the events of the past with more modern ones.
