This tour changed my life. I loved the places we visited and all we saw while snorkeling. It is a beautiful and magical experience that everyone should live at least once in their lives.
Josue is a wonderful guide, he is clear when explaining the how to of the kayak experience, he is very knowledgeable about the fauna and about the places we were visiting. He is funny, extra nice and super attentive. I would go on this tour daily!

My husband and I opted for the 6am departure and, since it was included and we needed a pick-up from our resort, we took advantage of the transportation. Our ride picked us up promptly at 5:40am and we had a pleasant conversation with Sasha, our driver, while she took us to the meeting point, where we met our guide Josue and one other lovely couple who had also signed up for this expedition. Josue gave us a safety briefing and provided us with dry bags for some of our items to take with us on the kayaks. True Baja provided us with tandem kayaks. Prior to the trip, I had input our heights/weights, as requested, but I did notice that the tandem kayak we had was rated a little lighter than the combined weight of my husband and myself. (This is no fault of True Baja, as the maximum weight limit of 425 lbs for the kayaks is clearly communicated on their website.) We are not overweight, but we are tall (my husband is 6'4" and a big guy and I am a tall woman at nearly 6') and thus we slightly exceeded the maximum shown on the kayak. We are experienced kayakers, so it wasn't a huge deal, but I do think we were a little slower in the water as a result and I just want to put this out there for individuals who should be aware of the max weight on the tandem kayak. Regardless, we had a wonderful time on this expedition.
I highly recommend the early departure since the marina is less populated at that time. We (our guide and the other couple in their tandem kayak) were the only kayakers on the water that morning. We made our way out to the arch and the surrounding rocks. The views were breathtaking. After kayaking around the arch for a bit, we docked the kayaks at Lovers Beach. Josue was very good about helping us dock safely and he provided us with some granola bars and water. We walked around Lovers Beach and Divorce Beach, taking in the beauty of the weathered rock formations and ferocity of the waves at Divorce Beach. The waves are incredibly powerful at Divorce Beach. A small gathering of pelicans waited on a dune near the crashing waves and it didn't take long to realize why. One wave brought in a fish and stranded it on the dunes, flopping around! The pelicans are clearly aware of these ocean gifts.
After some time at the beaches, we embarked on our kayaks again, this time headed towards Pelican Rock. Once we docked the kayaks, Josue provided us with snorkel gear (mask, snorkel, fins) and was able to provide instruction to anyone who needed it. Again, a benefit to being in the early group was that the five of us were the only ones snorkeling there. There was abundant life to see at Pelican Rock! Countless species of fish, a sting ray, mobula rays, two octopi, and clear views down into the depths. It was beautiful and we will have great memories of this being one of the most exhilarating snorkel experiences we have had.
Everything was well organized, from the pick-up to the drop-off, and I would highly recommend booking this expedition if you have been kayaking before and are ready for some open ocean paddling. I would not recommend this expedition for brand new kayakers, though, since the waves can surge and sometimes the winds are a force to battle against.
Another bonus is Josue took photos of us while we kayaked out at the arch and emailed the photos to me a few days later. He took some great shots and it was comforting to know I didn't have to worry about documenting the experience myself (though I did bring my phone to snap a couple of photos, too).

We loved this excursion. Josue was an amazing guide! I would highly recommend going early in the morning. Well worth getting up early to have the water, beaches and snorkeling to yourself. Snorkeling was the best. Water was clear and so many fish. One thing I loved was Josue takes pictures and they are very professional and sent at no extra charge. We were picked up at our resort and I felt very safe. We loved this company so much we set up another excursion to Chileno beach the next day and had another amazing experience.

This was incredible. Sasha was amazing being our driver. Fernando was our guide and super impressive. The kayaking was great, and the photos at the Arch were amazing. Lovers Beach and Divorce Beach was a fabulous stop to be able to rest up for the snorkeling. And the snorkeling was incredible. So many fish, a manta ray, and just missed an octopus! This is an absolute must in Cabo, and this company is the best.

Loved this expedition!!! Was a slow day so we ended up having a solo tour with Josue. He made sure we got onto lover's beach (the landing was a little scary), and then gave us a wonderful guided tour! Got some great pictures at the arch, and the snorkeling was phenomenal. SO much wildlife, and the vis was really good. 10/10 would recommend!

My husband and I did the 6:00am Kayak/Snorkel. We were the only two people with our guide, Josue. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave detailed instructions on how to kayak/snorkel as well as information about the land. We Kayaked to the arch and took pictures in front of it. We got off at lovers beach and had a snack/water break. Then we walked over to divorce beach and got to see the true power of the Pacific Ocean. During the snorkel session we saw a small octopus hiding in a hole, two eels, a large snail, and hundreds of fish. We even had a sea lion swim alongside us. It truly was a wonderful experience. Sasha was our driver to and from our hotel and she was very kind and helpful. We would definitely recommend giving this adventure a try!

What an amazing adventure! Excellent, True Baja!
I was picked up by Sasha who was a delight. We had good conversation on the way to Playa Empacadora. The energy was good right from the start.
When I arrived I was greeted by the guides and met with another nice couple. Josue led our small group which I very much liked. He explained in detail what to expect, how to respond, and how to do everything. In a nutshell, when you hit the water…commit.
This was my very first time doing any of this. Kayaking. Snorkeling. All of it. Josue’s guidance made this effortless and unforgettable. When you get out there, tune in to Mother Nature and align yourself with her frequency. Dont be afraid of her. She will comfort you. Get out of the mind and into the body.
Snorkeling instructions were concise and helpful. We saw an Octopus nestled in some rocks, beautiful fish with vibrant colors, and a curious sea lion that swam with us for a bit. The fish are curious as well so they may come within a short distance from you.
Lovers and Divorce Beach are breathtaking to say the least. The power of the Ocean gave me chills. Its a very grounding experience.
The last part was El Arco which was a very nice conclusion to the morning.
To wrap up a long review, True Baja definitely knows how to give great tours. It was informative but not performative and I appreciated that. If you’re trying to narrow down which excursion to do, this should definitely be one of them.
Thank you True Baja.
