The best excursion we have done in Italy, and we have toured the Vatican, the Colleseum, the Isle of Capri, and the Amalfi coast. Our driver was the best. We enjoyed both vineyards and the lunch view in Pienza was to die for. Would recommend this to anyone, but especially wine lovers.

Luca was our guide and this was an excellent tour all around. The coach was air conditioned and comfortable and he provided helpful information along the scenic drive. The two wine Tastings were well picked and we git a mix of local foods, medieval villages, history, scenic views and wine. It was one of our favorite days of our trip to Italy. Highly reccomend.

Luigi was a great and entertaining guide! He was really tentative to the over all desire of the group. He sought out perfect scenic photo opportunities for us and made a few stops along the way to offer photos. This was a perfectly paced trip from Florence. Nothing felt rushed and we felt like we had enough time to see or do anything we wanted to at each stop. We absolutely loved every stop. Having the opportunity to get out of the city of Florence and explore the Tuscany country side was amazing. The underground city tour was really interesting. The lunch at the winery was delicious. The wine delicious at every stop. So glad we took this tour! I would like to add photos but don’t seem to have the option on Viator.

The 1st winery was amazing so it left the 2nd on in 2nd place! The driver was to aggressive and not very hospitable. He was doing a job of driving as fast as he could to be done at the end of the dat.

Tuscany is gorgeous, and we enjoyed that. The first stop in Montepulciano was nice. I had visited the same place years ago on another tour run by a different tour company as well so that’s what I had to compare it to. The food served and the wine were both great at the first place. There was plenty tasty cheeses and meats to accompany the wines. It was a small group, just us and one other couple, and we chose it because it was focused on Brunello wines specifically. However, I wouldn’t say it was a major focus. No complaints though because we enjoyed some of the other wines too. The thing is we weren’t told much of anything by our driver, just dropped at the door, so we didn’t know if we had time to enjoy the village when we were done with the tasting. So we walked to the parking lot, found our driver, and we left. The castle was closed that day so that was a miss too. No one’s fault but we all four wished we had been given a time and instructions to have a bit of time on our own for walking around and exploring, buying souvenirs, a gelato, taking pictures, etc. The communications was missing. Driver was very nice but maybe new. Instead we stopped by a nearby church but weren’t told it was only open to visit with tickets which had to be obtained across the way (we found out when we tried to go inside) but the driver then told us when we asked about it that we didn’t have time so we just saw the outside of a church, snapped couple pictures, and left. The second stop was not as fancy, but was still a nice place, much smaller and family run. Nice folks. The part about the whole tour that we were not as excited about and that didn’t compare to my first tour years ago was that the guide was a driver only, not an actual guide with info. We felt there was something missing and for what we paid, it wasn’t worth the cost of 500 euros per couple. If I ever did a Tuscan wine tour again, I’d do something different. My first experience was magical which is what I hoped to experience and to show my husband. This one was ok. That’s my honest opinion and experience.

This was an amazing tour, especially for the money. Our guide was wonderful very friendly, knowledgeable and fun. The tastings were above and beyond the best I have ever experienced. The vineyards and wine tasting room themselves were spectacular. We were able to sample a variety of wines. Lunch was on a terrace with a spectacular view and the food and wine they served were delicious. And I was very lucky. We were in a very small group only three of us so it made it a very personal experience. The drive to and from Florence was also beautiful going through the Tuscan Hills. I highly recommend.
