Did not use this service. Our original flight was cancelled and the airline put us on a different flight… we ended up arriving into Reykjavik 15 minutes later than originally planned. Once we arrived I called the local operator number. They said our assigned driver had come to the airport and waited 15 minutes then left — he noted us as no-shows. There is NO WAY we could have gotten thru that airport, cleared customs, picked up our bags, and connected with our driver in 15 minutes!!! Impossible! Airport too big and crowded!!! They live there and work at that airport. They should know that. We also checked with the Grayline rep at the airport and they said they had no one available for the rest of the day. I don’t plan on booking with Grayline (either directly or thru Viator) ever again. Took my money knowing 15 minutes was unreasonable!!!

It's not really a private car from the airport to hotel. You need to ride in a big bus from the airport to a bus terminal. Then you have to change into a smaller bus which takes everyone to their individual hotels. There's a much cheaper solution for similar services.

The driver was waiting for us when we arrived the designated meeting location. She was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Bottled water was waiting for us on the van. We area group of 8 and there was plenty of room for luggage.

We booked this since it had options to pick up at hotel .. but it forced you to go to a public bus 30 min across town.. I cancelled within 3 min of booking when I saw this, but they refused to give me money back since I booked after midnight.. need a refund for 6

Super easy to set up through Viator. The driver was waiting on time as planned. Excellent communication from the transfer company. Would highly recommend.

None. It was a nightmare. Will not recommend this company.
Neither Viator or Grayline were helpful. Our flight was delayed. Missed the connection. Tried to call both continues to inform them about the delay. Neither were helpful.

Then asked someone with a Grayline shirt who then pointed us to a kiosk. After about 10 mins of checking in the computer and and looking around with all the other pick ups, a gentleman came to us and said he was standing "right over there".
He was friendly enough and we were all on our way. When we got to the car, it was a taxi. If I wanted to purchase a taxi am I would have just hired a taxi. I guess be careful when saying "private transfers" because a taxi is exactly that and I can't argue with that....😆
Don't expect black car service -I just though for $186 USD each way we would of at least got that...
Amhar, our driver was super nice and helpful. He provided us recommendations to eat, visit and we spoke about how much he and his family loved living in Iceland.
The reason for 3 stars is the expectations of meeting us with our name and the taxi -other than that it was fine.

Driver was just a few minutes late but very nice. Very nice and clean van with plenty of space for passengers and luggage. No issues.
