A revitalizing experience, the experience takes you in a kayak to the non-touristy area of Xochimilco. Marcos, a biologist, explained to us all kinds of important information about the habitat and answered all our questions regarding the history, flora and fauna of the lake.
The breakfast was delicious and the yoga session is in a peaceful area, which includes sound healing with bowls. 100% recommended. A thousand thanks to Constanza, Arita & Marcos for an unforgettable experience!

Awesome experience. I feel revitalized. What a great concept to combine a Xochimilco tour with spiritual activities.

Overall we had a wonderful time.
My wife and I did not want to partake in the 'party boats-trajineras' but did want to experience the canals and step onto a chinanpa. Although we normally do yoga and meditation often, we knew that we were going to be fatigued from our prior travel days and would not like to partake of the yoga and medication piece. Our wonderful guide complied and while yoga and meditation took place, we rested and drank tea/coffee while enjoying a beautiful sunrise over
I have only one suggestion for this amazing experience to improve slightly.
I wished that on arrival, or immediately after getting into the suv, there would have been a brief introduction of people involved, their roles, as well as brief day layout.
Another thing I am personally learning when using Viator is that 'Private Transportation" does not mean Private experience for your group only.
One person traveling solo was obviously very ill with a viral illness and feel this person put all others at risk by partaking in this experience. If this were a 'Private' experience there is less risk of such travel exposures. I will need to be more careful when booking via Viator.

It is a tour that begins at 5:30 a.m. with a trajinera ride with pre-Hispanic music.
It's all included
Coffee, bread and back all the quesadillas you can eat. It's very worth it.
You will be infinitely grateful to the supreme being for this pleasant experience.

Wonderful experience - our guides were really nice, and we loved the food, all the explanations and the sound meditation. Worth waking up at 4:30 for!

Overall this was a great experience!
Constanza was very sweet and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole trip. She did a great job coordinating everything! Marcos was also great, he knew a lot about the nature and animals around us. He was also genuinely very nice. The yoga was great! I don’t speak very much Spanish, but just to make sure I knew what she was saying Constanza would say some things in English. She also finished the yoga seamlessly with a meditation that was so peaceful it almost put me to sleep. Lovely! I highly recommend this trip.

Incredible experience!!
Marcos and Constanza made our tour a wonderful experience. Marcos is an expert biologist, very knowledgeable about the area.
The place is beautiful, and the yoga and meditation class were wonderful.
The only problem is the breakfast, which is very delicious but I thought it was a little insufficient (salad and 2 mini tlacoyos).
Highly recommended experience, they think about every detail.

Great tour that is wonderfully different from all the other Xochimilco tours available. We were interested in seeing the “floating gardens” and canals but weren’t particularly interested in the usual alcohol-food-fiesta experience that most tours offer. We found this tour instead and got exactly what we wanted and more. We were taken by canoe through the canals at sunrise and saw so many beautiful birds along the way while our guide (Marcos, a local farmer in the chinampas) told us about the history and agriculture there. We didn’t have to paddle, the guides did it all for us. Would recommend a jacket (we went in May and it was a little chilly) but they also supply blankets for everyone. After about 45 minutes, we arrived at Marcos’s garden chinampa where we were given tea/coffee/crackers and a tour of their amazing sustainable gardening methods. After that, our other guide (Constanza) set up yoga mats for us in a grassy area and we had a 45-60 minute yoga session that was focused on stretching and mindfulness. Very adaptable for all levels of fitness/experience. At the end of the yoga, we meditated together by laying on our backs while Constanza gave us a lovely “sound bath” by playing crystal singing bowls. Super relaxing and such a unique experience! We then had breakfast that was completely farm-to-table and delicious. Then took canoes back to our van to return to Condesa.
Overall amazing experience!! Very focused on nature, agriculture, and serenity. Highly recommend!
