I was truly the tour "with a local: 100% personalized & private"! All thanks to my wonderful guide, Ross, I had just a perfect day in Sydney, touring around the city by public transport just like locals do.
Ross was very conscientious and extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of the city. I enjoyed hearing about his family, his work before retirement and his current volunteer work, and by the end of the tour, I came to highly respect him for what he does for his country.
The luxury of having a private guide also allowed me an opportunity to change plans on a whim. Prior to the tour, we had talked about visiting one of the art museums, but since it turned out to be a gorgeous day, Ross suggested that we take a ferry ride to Watsons Bay, which turned out to be an unexpectedly nice outing.
All in all, I would highly recommend that you take this tour. Even if you only have several hours to visit Sydney between your flights, having a private guide will let you take in the city as if you were staying in the city for a couple of days!
