Excellent, detailed, informative tour of the Uffizi museum, we thoroughly enjoyed all the stories about the artists, their paintings and the history involved, much better than trying to do it on our own.

Our tour guide was great, and the headsets worked well. We learned a ton, and 1.5 hours was just right. I highly recommend this tour!

Great experience! Leonardo was a fantastic tour guide. He provided a point of view with respect to the art that I wouldn’t have appreciated on a self guided tour. My family and I were very happy with the tour and museum.

Everything went smoothly and our tour guide was great. We met at the designated area next to the Ufizzi and there was a man, Acha, who had an iPad to check you in. When our tour guide came we were given headphones and a snail radio set to clip on your pants or you could wear around your neck. This was great so you can hear the tour guide as she walk us through the highlights of the museum’s 2nd floor (Botticelli, DaVinci, Michelangelo, Raffael, etc). We were a family of four (teen children), with 3 other couples, nice small group of 10. Our guide was from Florence and you could tell she was proud of her city’s history. Note that the your is only for the 2nd floor (-1.5 hours) which was fine, and we explored the 1st floor on our own. Very satisfied with the quality.

We enjoyed the tour. It was helpful to have someone be able to shepherd us through the museum and make sure we saw the highlights. It was very crowded, which provided some challenges but overall, we are glad we went and had a guide.

Meeting point was central and collecting tickets was easy. Skipping the line was wonderful. We had a small group of 8. I appreciated being shown the highlights as the museum was very overwhelming.

The tour guide was very knowledgeable, but she needs a mic that she doesn’t have to hold and is close to her mouth. She had to hold the mic to her mouth so we could hear, but every time she moved her head or hand, we couldn’t hear. But overall a good tour and recommend

I would imagine it is somewhat easier to handle a tour when all goes well, it's when there is a slight issue that separates the real professional from the novice. We booked a tour and were pleasantly and efficiently greeted by Jonalyn. She explained there had been a problem with getting tickets from the gallery and she went above and beyond to help everyone. One family was only in Florence for the rest of the day, and we had a few days left, so we left them have the tickets and we took the option to go the next day. The communication was top notch, every step of the way. I got a text message with specific directions and important information so I was prepared for the tour. When we rescheduled, I also got a text (and email) message with the new time.
We were once again greeted by Jonalyn for the rescheduled tour and she introduced us to our Tour Guide, Gabriella. Also, very knowledgeable, professional and enthusiastic. I asked a few questions, as did others in the group, and she answered them in detail and seemed to enjoy each question. Gabriella made sure we were all gathered together before she gave her presentation. Overall, a great experience with Crown Tours!
