Purchasing the Uffizi Gallery tickets will allow you to have entrance to the museum with its 50 halls of art history without the hassle, and explore at your own pace. Romantic Florence is a city of art overflowing with a rich history. In fact, the reminders of its grandeur hide around every corner and behind every door.
There is so much to see that, at times, it’s hard to decide which places to visit during your trip. One of the museums you should not miss is Galleria Degli Uffizi of the Medici Family which features the oldest and most renowned art collections in the world. Unsurprisingly, this makes it one of the most visited museums in Florence. Getting in is not always a walk down a red carpet.

Hassan was kind enough to upgrade us to a guided tour at no additional charge. Wonderful tour, wonderful tour group.

The guy was polite and not unhelpful but we still had to queue and not sure what the advantage of this was as you pay extra to have to queue anyway. Just turn up first thing or last thing in the day and save yourself the money would be my advice.

The museum is a real highlight. But you don’t get your entrance ticket from Viator and the means of collecting it isn’t properly explained. We queued at what looked like a redemption point only to be told to go to a random statue on the square to meet the Viator representative which took another 10 minutes to find. We could have done without it in 29 degrees of heat.

Someone else bought us timed tickets and we just picked them up and went inside. It definitely saved us time from standing in a queue. We *did* stand in line for the audio headsets so we could hear the museum info. This tour does not include a guide. Highly recommend the headset... Required a government issued ID to leave with it (or one for a family group). Cost 6€ and the audio tour starts on the second floor. We had an early time slot and the museum was still crowded. We were there appropriately 2 hours. You'd need more than that to really see and read each item of art, but we saw all the major pieces of art, along with a lot of lesser pieces, before we hit our cultural limit and needed to get lunch.

Took 2-4 min to enter and pass security then we had a free run at the place. Really enjoyed the Leonardo Da Vinche and Michelangelo exhibits.

Skipping the line was the way to go because the gallery gave us the vouchers, made our reservations, & then we turned them in for the ticket. Purchasing a headset for 5.00 is highly recommended!

The ticket was easy to purchase. The employee to give us our tickets was not where he was supposed to be at the designated time. We had to wait in line about 25 minutes to get inside -so not really skipping a line. We went on Tuesday afternoon which is apparently the worst day to go since the museum is closed Mondays-that was our fault. It was super crowded.

While it seemed like a good idea at first, I ultimately found that it wasn't really necessary during this time of year.

One of the main issues I encountered was the difficulty in finding the designated spot where I was supposed to meet the person handing out the tickets. The instructions provided were not very clear, and it took me some time to locate the correct area. It would have been helpful if there were better signage to guide visitors to the meeting point.

Once I finally found the person distributing the tickets, the process was quite straightforward. They simply handed me the skip the line ticket and pointed me in the direction I needed to go. While this saved me some time, I realized that the regular line wasn't too long during my visit in June. It seemed that the skip the line ticket would be more beneficial during peak tourist seasons when the lines are significantly longer.

The Christian paintings were besutufl and the statues were so interesting depicting history. I highly recommend for students and families. Make sure to buy the earphones to listen.
