Very interesting hike with lots of explanations from the guide Gianfranco.
Very educational and impressive the huge amounts of lava. Beautiful views of Catania and the interior of Sicily. We were lucky, the weather was clear and we were able to take beautiful photos. Thanks to the whole team.

Great walk through the crater of Etna. Expensive, but worth it, it's spectacular. The guide, Gianfri, was phenomenal, very attentive to everyone and explaining everything we saw in detail. You have to be in some physical shape because you walk for about four hours, there are no shadows and there are slopes, but it is not difficult. Awesome.

I gave this experience to my husband for his 50th birthday, as it had been a wish of his for a long time. Noemi explained the activities to us in detail, we chose the trek with a guide to the 3000 m craters and we were expertly accompanied in this undertaking by Nuccio, who made this experience unforgettable for me, my husband and my 12 year old son. Amazing experience! Our French-speaking guide was perfectly knowledgeable about the history of Etna and the region.
4 hours of hiking for €50 per person, it's worth it with all the explanations and little nooks and crannies shown by our guide.
The necessary equipment is provided before leaving by the agency (shoes, socks, helmet, jacket).

The excursion to the craters up to 3000m was a wonderful experience! Our guide (Fabrizio) was professional, competent, friendly and available to answer various questions. It is certainly not a trek to be taken lightly because in some points it was challenging, but Fabrizio was good at leading us safely, allowing us to see spectacular landscapes and learn a lot of things... while having fun! Super super recommended! 😃

We booked spontaneously and have to say that the tour was definitely worth it. It was an adventurous experience with a very good, attentive guide. I was a little worried that I wouldn't be able to manage the height, but he was very considerate and kept the group together well. The view is magnificent, I felt safe at all times and can only recommend this trip!

Watch out for tourist traps! The touts are waiting for you on the road when you arrive and make you think that they are official guides of the Etna national park. They tell you that it is obligatory to take a guide when that is not true. Very expensive excursion: 50 euros in cash, plus 50 euros for the funicular ticket. 100 euros in total. Very expensive considering the lousy services. Once paid, you are made to wait in a restaurant that is part of the same company. Very expensive, not fresh and not good. Ask for the receipt with details. Very unpleasant agency staff, especially after paying. Then you have to wait until a group of 30 people is formed. Arrived at 08:30, departed 13:00!! We don't tell you that of course. A word of advice: take your excursion directly at the official funicular counter, Funivia dell'Etna, cheaper (return by funicular, bus and guide 78 euros). Otherwise just take the funicular and walk alone following the paths or the road.
Shoes, warm jackets, gloves can be rented upon arrival of the funicular (5 euros each).
Watch out for the queue to buy your tickets, more than an hour in April, I don't dare imagine in summer.
