What an awesome experience! We saw cool fish, turtles and even a monk seal sun bathing while napping on the rocks. Surf cycling is super easy and fun. Our guide is local and has tons of knowledge that he shared with us. Highly recommend booking!

Riding a bike on the ocean is as much fun as you’d expect and more-such an amazingly rare adventure!! My family (including 2 skeptical teenagers who later changed their minds) completely enjoyed ourselves as we biked our way through Makena Bay and its multi-hued waters. Our super cordial tour guides/bros, KJ & La’au (?sorry for spelling) took us out to appreciate the historical significance of the island, and we all were lucky enough to see a green honu turtle swimming & sticking its head near us. We saw another friendly one near the shore as we waited to start our water bike tour-what a magical moment! We were reluctant to finish our tour because of all the fun we had! Would definitely recommend and will do this again next time we’re in Maui. Able to bring iPhone to take pics as the bikes have a waterproof pouch. Great thanks to all the kind guys helping us experience such great family memories! A hui hou!

This was a fun way to get out on the water and paddle around. The guys leading our tour provided information about the nearby islands, as well as some history. They were very helpful and made sure that we had a safe, comfortable, pleasant experience. The bikes were easy to navigate.

Loved all of the tour. Relaxing sitting on thie water and pedaling around the cove. Saw some turtles and fish. Both of the guides were excellent. Fun and knowledgeable.

This is a great tour for those who want to be on the water but don't want to swim. For the ladies I recommend swim shorts as the seat can get scratchy on your bottom. Shoes not necessary except to walk down to the launch area. 1.5 hoita was just about right. While biking on water may seem slow, the guide was SO interesting and gave us great inside tips around the area. Can't say enough about the young men helping us. Wonderful people. There's a public parking area just north of the launch spot. Due to construction we parked there. On maps it's called Makena Landing Park. BEST TIP- after your tour ends, bring an umbrella and plan to spend time at Big Beach right around the corner! Our teens loved this beach best of any on the island. And there's a food truck on your way to grab lunch.
