Melbourne Balloon Flight at Sunrise

What a magical experience. Patto expertly guided us over the city with the help of Eddie and ground crew Bronny. We really did float above the city - wonderful views. Loved the whole trip which was made all the more enjoyable by the the Global Ballooning team injecting personality and enthusiasm.

Ours started in a park in Northcote, we then flew over Carlton, up close to Docklands and landed over in Port Melbourne. We had great weather, some fog over the city and excellent hosts. Breakfast back at the hotel was great too.

A truly amazing experience. The flight was majestic. We got to see our see our city in a completely unique and beautiful way. It was stunning. Kiff and Ronnie from Global Ballooning were fantastic. We felt they went out of their way to ensure we got the best possible experience.

What a fantastic voyage! Something that should be on everybody’s bucket list! The views were amazing and Kiff, along with his support crew, provided a memorable experience! If you’ve ever contemplated doing this, go for it! You won’t be disappointed!

We were blessed with perfect fight weather and enjoyed spectacular views. Had waited for two years to take the flight - cannot stress enough how worth the wait it was!
Our Pilot was fantastic and let us take part in the balloon set-up and break-down which made the experience feel even more immersive.
The flight passed over many Melbourne landmarks and I was impressed by how our pilot ensured the best route available (weather permitting), which gave us so many beautiful moments to capture.
The whole flight was very much a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Having said that, I would book again for sure!

Came to Melbourne for an anniversary holiday and this was the main event. Eddie, the pilot, was very experienced and despite us not rushing to find the perfect starting location we were last to get started and 2nd up in the air. Bronni was the ground crew and knew exactly what was going on at all times. Very safe, even for the height we went at, and another passenger was afraid of heights and had a great time. This is a family owned business who has great relationships with the other hot air balloon pilots as well. The added GoPro video + pictures coverage during the flight meant we could enjoy the experience without having to take photos the entire time! I definitely would keep an eye on the GoPro aluminum bar, it likes to hide!

Down to earth, efficient, safe, and very organized. Should we come to Melbourne again, we'd only rebook with Global.
