We spent two days with Laura experiencing Bucharest history, life, atmosphere, food and architecture. She’s a terrific guide - excellent spoken English, very knowledgeable and fun to be with. We covered various districts of Bucharest including many delightful back streets off the beaten path - highly enjoyable and recommended

Enjoyed walking around the city & the food was tasty. Would have preferred outdoor seating. Needed more time walking between the courses. Laura had many personal stories that were interesting & her passion was infectious.

Laura was an excellent guide and storyteller. The food and local venues were terrific! Nice sampling of dishes from polenta, cheeses, sausages, veggies, fresh fruit, pastry and more. To top it off, Laura made us feel like family friends rather than tourists.

Laura provided a great tour of Bucharest. Our small group visited 3 places for our 3 course dinner of local foods. All were excellent and along the way we had a great guided tour of Bucharest. Great way to learn about Bucharest and have dinner.

The walking tour of Bucharest that took us to various terrific food stops was wonderful.
Our guide, Sinziana was so entertaining and knowledgeable and we had a really great irrational tour.
Not only did we explore unique and interesting parts of the city but we had appetizers, snacks, main courses, local beer, and desserts at unique and interesting eateries around the city too.
So glad we had this tour early in our stay. It allowed us to become familiar with Bucharest and enjoy local foods.

We have just had two amazing tours with Laura
The first was a walking food tour where we ate a three course lunch in three different locations one for each course followed by a wine tasting in the early evening with cold meat and cheese platter plus a lot of cultural and historical references - a really fabulous afternoon and early evening.
The second was a fascinating tour of old mansions - really amazing architecture in the centre of Bucharest but off the beaten tourist track. So many wonderful buildings that we just didn’t expect to see and Laura was like being shown round by a good friend - so relaxed and generous with her time.
We had already done a tour of the usual tourist hot spots so this was a really unexpected treat and added to our whole experience. We would thoroughly recommend this tour company.

We spent a lovely day with Laura, combining her best in Bucharest tour and food and culture tour. She is extremely knowledgeable and personable. She personalized our day to fit our interests and background. The food stops were great and we especially enjoyed talking with Laura during those stops. We feel like we now have a friend in Bucharest.

From first meeting Laura, I knew it was going to be a great tour and it was. She was so engaging and we were completely at ease. And she had a delightful lady learning the food tour ropes with her named Maria, who made it doubly wonderful! Our first stop was a restaurant whose name I neglected to get but had a quaint outdoor seating area. They brought a huge tray of meats and vegetables and cheese with a variety of sauces. We were visiting during the May holiday time frame so we were quite lucky that they were cooking goulash outside in a cauldron as well as the minci sausages beside it. Laura arranged it so that we were also able to have both of those. Very tasty! We stopped by very cute bookshop again to something from Beauty and the Beast library and also a brief stop at a farmer’s market. I never knew wild garlic existed and now I do. :-) Next stop were savory and sweet pastries. Someone in our group mentioned how they were looking forward to trying cabbage rolls on this trip so Laura called ahead to the restaurant. We were next going to and set up for us to have those which was incredibly thoughtful and appreciated. We all sat outside at La Mama and had a few drinks and savored the cabbage rolls and polenta. Last stop was at French Revolution eclairs.

When my husband and I travel, we always try to do a food tour because we learn so much about the area in addition to trying the local foods. Laura fulfilled all that and then some. We learned so much about the buildings and their architecture, about the government in past decades and now and of course, the incredible Romanian food. By the end of the tour, I was ready to invite both Laura and Marie to come visit us in the states. They were so personable, friendly and relatable. I highly recommend touring with Laura to get a complete gastronomic experience as well as a fantastic perspective on the Romanian culture and way of life.
