The tour is good quality. Obviously, you skip the long line and have a tour guide for the price. In our case, Maria was assigned to us. Very nice and kind lady. She had answer for everything (even for those tricky questions). What impressed me is how she knows about the museum, its history, etc. I liked the way she organized the visit and how she handled the group. She even gave us a few minutes in the Sistine Chappell to enjoy such master piece.
So, all in all, it is a good tour despite the price is not the best, but considering you will get good stuff you can say it worths it.

It was a little long for anyone that can’t stand/walk for 3.5 hours. Guide was knowledgeable. I enjoyed it, but it was too long for my husband.

Guide was excellent and very knowledgeable. Even with a couple of detours to extra bits due to the number of people she kept us moving. Very kind and accommodating to people dipping out when needed. We did the whole thing though. Lots of walking but really valued the voiceover. I had been twice before without a guide and felt it was well worth paying the extra.

Excellent your our guide was actually so interested in what she told us and made the whole trip amazing . I brought my children and was concerned they would be bored but the were just as intrigued

Tour was not worth the money. Tour guide was very nice, a little long winded on stories. Did not help that it was so hot and crowded. Did not really have the time to actually look at things.

We had to wait about 30 minutes in the beginning for a party that was missing a member, then had to rush through some of the exhibits to make up time.

Overall very informative and impressive,
Maria was extremely knowledgeable about the history and gave us a lot interesting details. Be aware, it is crowded and it can get overwhelming, especially if you have young kids. I do highly recommend going the tour, you will get a lot more than trying to do it on you own.

Alvena did a great job as she was very knowledgeable. I think for some people she should have gotten us moving sooner. The headset worked well and the information that she gave us made the things that she pointed out really come alive. I especially enjoyed what I learned about the Sistene Chapel and Saint Peter.
