We meet you 1 hour before the sunrise in order to drive to see the crew prepares the balloon to take of, you will have the chance to witness how a hot air balloon inflates.
Once we take of, this trilling experience lasts approximately on hour. As the wind gives the direction to the balloon, you will travel through the spectacular valleys of Cappadocia and even get so near to volcanic formations and the fairy chimneys.
As long as the the weather allows, hot air balloon flight can be done during all year.
You will get full refund if we can not fly due the weather conditions.

Everything is sorted beforehand by WhatsApp. For the flight, Discovery picks you up at the hotel and drops you afterwards. They serve you breakfast before the flight and sparkling wine to celebrate the safe landing (cake and orange juice to go with), a tradition started by the first balloon flyers.
Opposite to other operators, Discovery flights won't be so crowded! 16 people instead of 20 or 24 in the basket so that everyone has good sights / views.
We were lucky to fly with Yuksel! A captain with over 4000+ flights. He was very nice, professional and funny, making you feel safe throughout.

The views were amazing. I would recommend taking first ascent if you want to enjoy different hues during sunrise. Thank you Discovery Balloon for making my experience memorable.

Breath taking experience, worth the money. From the time they picked us up till the drop off in the hotel the entire team was very helpful and pleasant. Well organised and the trip was quite informative from the balloon pilot telling a little about the various location in the area. Helping me plan the next activity for the day. Heads up it's an early start of the day.

The experience was amazing! They offered little buffet breakfast before the trip. The flight was smooth, the captain was very careful and funny and he also was a very good guide. The crew served us with champaigne and there was a cute celebration at the end of the flight with an amazing View of the ballons landing. Totally worth it!

Outstanding Ballon ride with pilot ibrahm Dasdeler..he was in control and made the flight enjoyable..
Would highly recommended Discovery Balloons..the whole experience form pick up, a light breakfast, and champagne finish was amazing.

The view was amazing and spectacular. Our guide/driver was very knowledgeable about the sites around Cappadocia. Our flight was very smooth and we had a great landing!! Highly recommend!!

Words fail to express what I saw and cameras fail to capture.. Every minute my impulse was should I capture it on my phone or just soak in the majestic views of the beautiful rock formation, the chimneys, the beautiful town of Cappadocia in the distance and splattered across the sky array of balloons filling the early morning sky with colours.. I booked my trip with Discovery balloon.. I wont exxagerate any bit of it.. They were constantly following up to ensure my hotel pick up, they communicated well on the call time (3:45 am) and the pick up was at dot the same time (so impressive).. We all were taken to their office and had early morning breakfast and then we where shuttled to the balloon site.. Its a different experience to see such majestic balloon getting filled and the experience of hopping onto your basket and just slowly sweeping off the ground and towards the beautiful sky with sun rising in the distance and other balloons it is way better than just seeing it on Instagram or tiktok.. The pilot was experienced and confident.. He knew his way around the balloon.. The winds also were in our favour and we had a good high as well as low level flying.. The post touchdown celebrations with champagne added to the feeling of accomplishing something.. The crew was very helpful and hey! Got a certificate too.. Woooohoooo!!!! I am a certified balloon flyer.. Lol.. Who would have thought that as an achievement.. As someone who believes throughly to go for recognised tour operators.. Discovery balloons gets my gold star..
PS:DO NOT COMPROMISE ON SAFETY IN THE NAME OF BUDGET.. GO FOR EXPERIENCED PILOTS..
