2-Hour Nile River Dinner Cruise From Cairo

Dance, food & staff are good and cordial
The cruise does not move in the 2 hours - it is mostly a stationary cruise ship with entertainment. I would not recc to go.

I had booked a Nile cruise on the Nile Maxim as it was recommended by many online as a must-do activity in Cairo. After going for the tour, I would say that you are better off going for felucca ride followed by a dinner at a good restaurant of your choice.
I was picked up from my hotel by the tour operator at 7PM and reached the boat in 15 minutes, then had to wait inside the boat till 8:20PM before the cruise started. The boat is very large, and feels more like a building than a boat and you hardly feel any movement during the cruise. There is a very large dining area with two small walkways on either side. There is hardly any area to stand and watch the shoreline, which is a major disadvantage in my view, and the reason why I suggested a felucca ride instead.
Considering the amount charged for the experience, the food is sub-par. Only the salads are served buffet style, with only three options for the main course, and no options for the dessert. I ordered veal, which was overcooked and rubbery. A slice of Tutti-Frutti ice Cream was the only dessert on offer, which I would expect from a fast food service and not a restaurant that has pretensions to five star service. This was the reason I suggested going to a restaurant of your choice after your felucca ride.
Overall, neither the ride nor the food was worth the price and I would not recommend this activity to anyone. Ever.

It was the best time. Driver Ibah, picked us up and started the night with uplifting music. The dancers and show at the dinner was expectauler. Food was great as it was a buffet with the names of each food. My experience was amazing. I did not expect it to be so remarkable, as Bishoy made sure we were well taken care of, our table was good, that we felt comfortable and we had our drinks served as well. There are no words that can explain my experience as I leave wanting to see more of this wonderful land, culture and people. Thank you so much to all of you.

Hello! We have been very comfortable, we took a great friend from Egypt to Spain, we have learned a lot about the culture of Cairo, it has been impressive to be with Bisho.

We were picked up in good time, and the tour guide ensured that our entry was swift without waiting in long queues. The seating arrangement was great, and the dinner was fantastic. We enjoyed the performances, especially the belly dancers. We would love to come again

We saw many boats and dinner boats near us with many pressuring us to go on them. It was nice to get picked up and taken south along the Nile to another location for this boat. The food was good, but they ran out of dessert (there were a lot of people on the boat). The entertainment was a nice addition. My favorite was the Sufi dancer (if you have heard of the whirling dervishes, this is similar). The local musicians for the Sufi dancer and the belly dancer were amazing. We had a guide who helped let us know where to sit and when to come back down to not miss parts of the entertainment. I always enjoy doing these dinner cruises when traveling (Dubai, Memphis, etc.) and this one was nice.

We booked this cruise for 2 hours for £55 total for x2 of us, including transfers, but later found out it costs USD16 then 30% off a head on their website. 8-10pm.

Boat was called ‘Andrea’ and we felt it was rather ‘dated’.
Transfer from hotel to /fro our hotel at El Tahrir square Cairo was hassle free.
We were assigned a nice table next to dance floor by the kind Viator rep as we arrived early at 7.30.
It was no stress with safe driver Mohammed and nice aviator rep Medhu.

Really Enjoyed the entertainment - belly dancer, singer, band and tanoura spinning dancer.

However we found the food average and rather bland and by the time we got to it as the queue had built up, some hot dishes were warm.

Photographer charges you if want to buy the photo with belly dancer.
Drinks are chargeable.
A good evening but felt it was rather overpriced if compare to buying it online on website direct and arranging own taxi.

1st trip to Cairo & the 1st thing we did was the Nile dinner cruise. It is not the fanciest but the vibe is top notch & for a buffet the food was great. Better than some over priced fancy restaurant. The dancers were great especially the gentleman spinning the garbs & the light show. Definitely want to come back with family.
