Our favorite part of this experience is seeing the eyes of new divers during those first few breaths underwater! It is a look of awe and excitement and it always makes us smile. We are a family business run by a Cozumel native and we love to share our very favorite things the island has to offer. Our motto at Cozumel Abyss Divers is "quality, not quantity", so you will experience a small group setting where you will get plenty of attention from your instructor. We keep a small ratio of no more than four* divers per instructor, and we also don't have a diver minimum for this experience, so we won't cancel if you are the only one!

It was an amazing experience doing the Discovery Scuba Dive. Definitely recommend for anyone. We did the DSD as a family and now we are thinking about coming back to get certified. Jose is a great master scuba diver and great at explaining each step of the way and making you feel safe at all times. Once the exercises are complete the dive itself is so memorable and breathtaking you just want to continue going. Definitely will be back to Cozumel and only work with Jose for any scuba diving certification.

Joey and the family managed Cozumel Abyss Divers is by far the no.1 experience we've had in Mexico/Cozumel.
