I covered Cusco city and Ollataytambo with Juan. He was amazing. He is a great teacher.....I learned so much from him. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the history of the Incas and imparts that to his clients with so much love and earnestness. He did not rush us at all but allowed us time to soak it all in. He offered to carry our bags, gave his rain poncho to me while he got wet. Such an amazing person. It appears he has taken great pains and put in lot of hard work and travels to learn about the Incan history. He is is fit to be a professor. Thank you for everything, Juan. I will always remember you whenever I think of Peru.

Everything was very nice! Simon Puma (our Guide) has a big Knowledge about the incas and told us a lot Stories about the places we visited. He also had an answer to all our questions and was very energizing in leading his team/family (our group). And he is also a great fotographer too :D he stopped at a lot of spots and takes photos from us and fullfill all wishes.
All in all it was well organized and the Guides told us that Alpaca expeditions really takes care about them. It is really worth it to go at Adventures with them.

This trip to Peru with my husband was for my 60th birthday and it did not disappoint. We went with Alpaca because they were referred to us by a friend and after researching, we were impressed by all that they do for the local economy and the environment. From the moment we were picked up at the airport to when we were dropped off, Alpaca was in contact with us and made sure all of our questions were answered. We had a number of guides and they were all top notch. Simon for our Cusco city tour, Pamela for our the South valley, Walter and Luis for 2 day Inca trail and Machu Picchu and Raoul for Rainbow Mountain. The accommodations were all excellent, the food provided by their chefs was plentiful and delicious and the drivers all courteous and professional. Planning this trip was also great dealing with the office staff. We told them what we wanted to see, and they curated a trip for us. We also added the Amazon to the back end and they organized it all with Rainforest Expeditions in Puerto Maldonado. There we stayed at Posada Amazonas which is a great lodge nestled in the forest and off the Tambopata river.
A trip of a lifetime that we will never forget!!

I had a great time on the 2-day 1 night trek with Alpaca Expeditions. Lucio and Bernardina were our guides and Donato was our chef! The trail was challenging but we went at a good pace that was accessible to everyone. The food was great and plentiful! Lucio was incredibly knowledgeable and was a great leader. I would recommend this trip! It was definitely early worth the value.

I took this tour, the one-day Seven Color Mountain tour and the lagoon tour and I can say that Alpaca is one of the best tour companies I have traveled with anywhere in the world. The guides are very professional and know a lot about each site visited, you learn a lot on each visit. Furthermore, their warmth and that of all your staff and doormen is unmatched. The food they prepare is better than many restaurants. I completely recommend this company.

Fantastic experience! Couldn’t recommend this expedition enough. Our guide, Juan Carlos Hullica Sayritura was honestly amazing and extremely funny. Kept us entertained and educated on Incan culture throughout the trip. Our second guide, Yadira was fantastic too!
