The cathedral was absolutely stunning, and was probably the most beautiful building in the city during my visit. skipping the line was worth it, however the sound quality on the radios were very bad. The guide was decent, but with a little too much accent so it was hard to understand at times. The knowledge she posessed was very good though, so I learned a lot, but the sound quality ruined the experience a bit for me.

HOT! Skip the line? We waited in the HOT unshaded sun for 25 minutes. We attempted to listen to our guide but we had difficulty understanding her English. She talked on and on with her back to the line. She wasn’t paying attention to the line and people were cutting in front of us. Once inside the very detailed and lengthy dialogue continued. We were so hot and couldn’t understand her so we turned in our headphones and left the group.

We had a good guide and the cathedral was beautiful. Apparently Viator’s site has a different definition of children than the one who checked us in. Tried to charge us more. I refused. They let us in anyway.

The headsets were minimally functional, as the guide was talking & her voice going in & out, so I could not understand what she was saying.
Secondly, I was wearing shorts, it was very hot - was not told ahead of time to cover my legs. The guide embarrassed me by calling me out to cover my legs & gave me a scarf. But, others were also wearing shorts & they didn’t wear cover.
Guide had no personality & was not interactive. I could have appreciated the church just as much without her.

We bought beat the queue tickets, arrived as instructed and waited in a long queue in hot sunshine whilst listening to a lady impart endless details about the building and its features. We eventually gained entrance and gathered ‘almost’ under the highly decorated dome ceiling, more details about the various builders designers and engineers who built the cathedral, our guide had a very strong accent and I could not understand or at times hear what she was saying. The Duomo is a very interesting building, that’s it! The cost was excessive, the experience was tiring and not enjoyable.

The guide was very knowledgable and friendly. This is a much better way to see the cathedral than to stand in the long line and not know what you are looking at. Highly recommended.

Fast track for sure!!! The guide pointed out everything we needed to see and more! The outse is even prettier than inside but the duomo paintings are incredible

We weren’t aware that this ticket did not include the museum and that it did include a guided tour (which we didn’t particularly want). The vendor was kind enough to get us tickets to the museum, however, so we ended up having a good experience.
