First of all, the description by Viator did not include a warning that 60+ people should not attempt to canyoneer through slippery mud and loose rocks. We told Eduardo that my sister had a reconstructed leg and he still encouraged us to go on the excursion. I made him hold on to my sister's hand until we got to the waterfall and open water. She could not do the second part - cliff jump, water rock slide and rope swing. And she could not go into the water because of all the slippery rocks. Heavy set people would not be able to complete the second part because they wouldn't be able to fit through the water passage between the boulders. I was very worried about my sister all day. I made the guide almost constantly hold her hand to help her maneuver the treacherous rocks and mud/clay underfoot. Somehow I was able to complete the excursion through the waterfalls and tree roots 3 foot high! I am 68 with osteoporosis, my sister had her leg reconstructed. THIS WAS NOT A MODERATE ACTIVITY LEVEL EXCURSION! I WOULD CALL IT A Canyoneering Difficult Level Excursion. If you go, be prepared for slips and falls and potential injury. Besides that, it was Father's Day and Luquillo Beach was extremely crowded. Eduardo brought us to a great place for lunch! Glad we left El Yunque uninjured and had a super lunch!

El Yunque was one of the best and must activity to do in PR. Highly satisfied with this booking especially because it's a small group and also our tour guide Andrea was exceptional. Right from beginning, she kept us informed about the whole tour plan, things to bring etc. Andrea made sure all of us are comfortable and safe throughout the activity. She was our personal paparazzi, took lots of pictures and videos. Would highly recommended this trip.

Brian was so sweet. we were a group of 5 active women ranging in age 33-67. Brian knew where to place our feet when navigating some pretty exciting terrain. Wear tennis shoes that you might just want to toss afterward or tevas, chaos or grippy watersandels Muddy muddy muddy. a walking stick is nice. Area is crowded. But you will get a turn jumping off cliff, rope swing, or one water slide. Getting to the slide takes some serious rock hopping to navigate. The best thing about the private tour is the guy seems to know the other guides and was able to work us to the front of many larger groups waiting in line. True perk! He had the hook up on clean restrooms, a hose to rinse off and changing rooms. Leaving the stuff in the car was fine. He took all the pics and airdropped to us. Oh and the restaurant “Edelwisse” is apparently the #1 one there. Food was amazing with huge portions. I had the octopus Arepa and it was so yummy! We ate off the app list and had too much food. Even the biggest appetites could easily split an entree. we arrived on a cruise ship. Had plenty of time to do the tour even though it takes about an hour to get to the falls. Day well spent!

The trip was so wonderful and Andrea was extremely knowledgeable about the rainforest. She was very patient with us and definitely was sympathetic with my wife when she wanted to not go up to the waterfall slide. Great hostess!

Hard to say, it was all great. Carlos was our tour guide. Can't say one bad thing. Pick up communication was great, he was right on time, courteous, friendly, patient, and funny too. He is so knowledgeable on El Yunque an PR in general. His skills and ability to guide us in a calm, helpful, and safe manner were immeasurable. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking to take this tour.

Our guide, Brian, was excellent and patent with our varied athletic abilities. My teenager loved the rope jump and water slide. The path is very wet and slippery, but interesting and we liked hearing the frogs. Wear shoes with good traction that you can hose off at the end. If you want water shoes, just carry them for the time in the pool.

This was easily the best tour we had on the island! Our guide, Eduardo, was a pro and helped us through the mud, slippery rocks, and narrow passageways. We asked many many questions and he was very knowledgeable and even gave us recommendations for drinks, etc around the island. We had an early pickup time and he texted 10 minutes before arrival.
Because he's such a pro, Eduardo got us to all of the best jumping spots and food spots before the other huge groups. He also helped us carry our extra items and took videos and pictures of us jumping off cliffs, swinging on the ropes, etc. The rainforest is gorgeous and there's plenty to do for a range of people (after the hike). We saw that some people were content sitting in or around the water while others jumped off cliffs and did backflips off the rope. Everyone we saw enjoyed to forest and the food! I would do this tour every week if I could.
