We had a really cool time exploring Joshua Tree with Kolin, our tour guide and driver. He was friendly, knowledgeable and just a really nice and interesting person who loves nature. I’d highly recommend this!

The tour was great - it was just the 2 of us who booked the tour and our tour guide Jeff. He tailored the experience for us so we went on a hike during the tour and also went to some sightseeing spots. We spotted a snake and some lizards during the hike which was cool. Also since it was just our party in the tour, we spent the time we need at various locations according to how long we wanted. Jeff was good company and made sure to drop us off to where we could catch our transfer bus. I recommend this experience!

Great tour - there were only the two of us so Jeff was able to make sure we saw all the highlights and even some off the beaten path, got so great photos as saw things we wouldn’t have done if we had driven ourselves
Jeff was very knowledgable and friendly. He arranged to pick us up from our hotel rather than the meeting point so we didn’t have to walk in the hot sun and dropped us off at a local restaurant for dinner - which was a really great recommendation. I would highly recommend this tour and ask for Jeff as your guide.

A must-do! Joshua Tree has been on my husband’s and my list for a long time, and Jeff at Big Wheel Tours made our visit truly spectacular. Friendly and clear communications ahead of time. Once on board, Jeff made sure to give us a comprehensive overview of options so we could customize our tour, and then we acted as a team to make excellent adjustments along the way. The park is really big, and Jeff got us to so many drop-dead gorgeous highlights (pun intended, it was approaching 110 that day!!) He gave us wonderful history, geology, botany, biology nuggets to sate our curiosity and encouraged us to stop wherever we wanted to experience this treasure. Water and snacks were plentiful. Great sense of humor and impressive movie line knowledge too! :) Truly amazing experience… my husband and I will remember this day forever. Thank you Big Wheel Tours!!!

We loved it, our guide was knowledgeable of the area and had great time. Now as a national park lover and have the pass to experience many, I would just purchase a audio guide for the area and drive it yourself. For the price that I have paid lil over $1100 for the party of 5, I don't think it is a worth a money. BUT, for the foreigners, it maybe worth it, just cause you don't know the area.

We can't say enough about the park, it was other worldly! Our guide, Captain Ron, was so knowledgeable and friendly. He took us to a variety of interesting places within the park, and even an extra stop or two since we weren't in a rush to get back for dinner. We did a couple of walking loops, as well as climbed up a big rock off the trail for some amazing views. We also went down to see the Cholla cactus garden. He educated us on the geology and history of the area from the minute we got in for the ride from Palm Desert, until the minute we arrived back. There were plenty of snacks and water available, as well as restroom stops. We all 3 agreed that the experience FAR exceeded our expectations.
