In the morning, the guide will lead you on a leisurely paddle through Makena Bay along its beautiful coastline with views of Molokini and Haleakala Volcano. Take the opportunity to snorkel over colorful reefs and, in Turtle Town, with Hawaii’s endangered green sea turtles and a variety of colorful marine life. Don’t be surprised if you spot dolphins or, during whale season, possibly encounter humpback whales. This 2.5-hour snorkel and kayak adventure is for ages 5 years and up, for beginners and pros. There is a maximum group size of 10 people and it will be provided bottled water.

John was really great! Very informative and cared about us having a good experience. He was able to help more advanced people get out have fun and also there to support beginners . Lots of good cultural information about the Hawaiian people, the islands, and the sea life! Would highly recommend reserving this particular tour guide he took us where there were less people. This was a lot of fun! We actually switched times from 10:30 to 7am because earlier is recommended to avoid the afternoon winds. Our guide was Jake and he was a lot of fun and had stories and facts about the different buildings and islands surrounding us. We ended up in the double kayaks, me with a daughter and my husband with the other. Bonus, we didn’t tip over once! Snorkeling was a great experience, so many fish and creatures in the coral reef. We spotted a couple turtles at shore and were able to swim with another.
A note for you guys with a stache: my husband wasn’t able to snorkel much because the face mask wouldn’t seal properly above his lip, so I’d say either shave/trim it up or bring a full face mask!

Knowledge guide. I had no previous experience with kayaking or snorkeling. It was novice friendly. It was a small group with all ages. Everyone looked like they were enjoying the experience.

Kyle was the best! Super friendly and funny. The tour includes paddling and snorkeling with cool history and fun facts. We saw a lot of turtles because there was a low tide. Snorkeling gear is provided with beverages and snacks. Bring a waterproof camera! Best experience we loved it and can't wait to be back. Thank you for your hospitality Kyle!!

This was an exciting trip kayaking out in the ocean. We anchored the kayak, then jumped out to snorkel. Immediately we saw beautiful coral, lots of fish, and watched the small fish cleaning the turtles. It was an incredible sight! We loved this experience!

We had a fantastic experience with our guide John. The group was small so very hands on. We learned so much about the island and its history. Lots of sea life and beautiful views. You are kayaking so a little work is involved, but this is great for even beginner/ first time kayakers! I would recommend being comfortable with swimming as this is a snorkel trip. Water shoes encouraged. You won’t regret this trip! We will definitely do this again!
