Get up early, as before 06.20 AM you will be "taking off" in the balloon from an airstrip
Your flying experience will basically depend only on the winds and the weather.....if you do not have higher winds you will be disappointed, the higher you fly the better
You will land "elsewhere" on some free ground as the balloon has no propulsion of its own." The operator will send vans to pick up the passengers and bring them back to where you took off and your parked car is
Personally: I prefer a helicopter flight

Very professional, watching winds and currents as we flew. Wonderful dialog about the area. Very cheerful and friendly. Great overall experience.
We also had a kiss the earth landing, hardly felt touchdown 5 stars

My friend and I told our husbands we booked a hot air balloon ride. We did not tell them it was for sunrise. It was worth waking up super early!!! Truly amazing experience and beautiful views. Our pilot, Chad, brought his American Flag since it was 4th of July. We were so proud to fly it in the air! Chad intentionally hovered over a small lake and raised us back into the air. He landed us safely and then lifted us onto the flatbed truck at the end. He was an unbelievable pilot with 10+ years experience. 10/10 for sure!!!!

Taking off, landing, the views, it was an amazing experience! However, I was expecting 4 hours total and it only lasted about 1.5 hrs.

Great. Not a 4 Hour tour. We we’re back at 8am. So it is more like 2.5 hours all in.

Mateo our flight instructor was wondering and had so much knowledge of the wine country region. He was so friendly and explained all safety instructions for taking off and landing! This was an amazing experience and the view from above was unbelievable. Highly recommend and ask for Mateo!

What an amazing experience! We were called the day before with great directions to skypark. Staff is energetic and helpful. Matteo, our pilot was exceptional. He pointed out points of interest along the way and explained interesting facets of ballooning. Landing was amazingly precise. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

Wow, what an amazing experience! 10 out of 10, I’d highly recommend it. This tour offered such beautiful views of the vineyards, the sun was just nicely coming up. It was warmer at a higher elevation on the ground. Our tour guide nacho did an amazing job!
