Dan from Golden Tours was a fantastic guide. He was very organised. He gave interesting commentary. He has great knowledge of Sagrada Familia. He also gave tips ie which is the best exit to avoid the crowds. Highly recommended.

I booked a tour of sagrada familia for my family with Golden Tour Guide through trip advisor. It was my son’s birthday, and we were all looking forward to the tour. But it turned out to be a complete disaster. We arrived on time, but could not find the guide. The phone was not working, nor was the internet. We couldn’t find the guide, couldn’t download tickets. We ran around in panic as our tour time approached. We asked security guides for help. They directed us to the one gate with free internet. We logged on, called the help line, and were informed that the guide had left and there was nothing they could do. They claimed to have called me, but there was no message on my phone and no record of a call. They didn’t give us a refund, didn’t offer to put us on a later tour. Nothing. It was a total disaster, and a very expensive one. I would strongly advise against using Golden Tour Guide through trip advisor. Absolutely awful!!!

The tour co cancelled the trip that we have been looking forward to for over 10 years. They sent the cancellation the morning of the tour, our last day in Spain, citing that a Festival had closed the Sagrada and all tours that afternoon were cancelled. However, we went to the Sagrada and it was packed with people touring and we were left with no tickets! And If it had been closed for an annual holiday, the tour company certainly would have known before the morning of the tour! SO DISAPPOINTED.

We booked this tour of Segrada Familia over a month before our trip to Barcelona. The local tour operator, Golden tour guide, sent us an email the morning of to cancel it. We were unable to rebook given the short notice. Highly recommend booking your tour directly on the Segura Familia website.
