This tour is unlike any other in the city; an exploration of Ireland's rich tradition of storytelling, and how those stories have changed the curve of Irish History, shaped the nation, and made Dublin the wonderful city it is.

In Ireland, storytelling is more than just a pastime - it's a high art form that has changed the very course of history itself.

Excellent content and worth the value. Great historical references. Few suggestions for hearing impaired and slower walkers:
- slow down the walking...some times going through busters we lost the guide completely
- when a bus or street cleaner goes by, pause the lecture. It becomes impossible to hear.
- there were long periods of time standing. I saw many people have to sit.
-the sites rarely added to the content

Ross, our guide, was very knowledgeable and engaging. He seemed very passionate about this mythological history. One of our favorite walking tours in Dublin. Highly recommend.

Really enjoyed this tour! Emily was a great guide with excellent humor and a local's knowledge of the city. I recommend doing this tour early in your trip to get a better idea of the city and get some tips from your guide.

Ross was an excellent tour guide! So detailed, yet not at all boring, he’s very good at hitting the right level of crowd engagement and is both extremely knowledgeable and very approachable. I’d recommend this tour to anyone interested in legends, folklore, or history. Tons of walking and standing so be prepared. Plan for the weather as well.

We really enjoyed our tour learning about the origin or Irish myths lead by Helena. Lots of the stories I had never heard before and we got to stop at some spots around Dublin with history I didn’t know about previously either, this was a fun and well rounded tour

The stories we heard were interesting and well delivered. If presented as a 1-hour talk it would have been better. The tour I (and about 15 other people) was given spent all its time south of the river, and only 1 stop was relevant to the content. To me, the point of a tour, walking or otherwise, is to see exhibits that illustrate or inform the information being shared. Except for the stop at the bank/former Parliament building, we had none of that. As far as I could tell the only reason we had to walk or stand for 2 hours was to save the tour company the cost of renting space for us to sit comfortably.

Some of the information we are given was about the Easter Rising, not at all relevant to folklore and mythology, and it contained at least 2 factual errors, which we knew because my husband and I had toured the GPO less than 2 hours before this tour.

I don't know if the divergence from the published itinerary was the guide's choice, the tour company's, or that the description on Viator and trip advisor is incorrect. Perhaps if this tour had stopped at any of the locations mentioned in the itinerary, I'd have had a better experience.

Early in tour, guide started by explaining how difficult Galic names and pronunciation was. He then proceeded to spend 40% of his time giving us Gaelic names for locations and deities.
During time we were with him, he spoke mostly of historical facts, not legions and myths.
Hung with him for three locations, then left tour, so perhaps it got better.
