Great trip! We saw so many whales! The boat ride was super fun for my 11 year old!
Hold on tight as the boat can go pretty fast but that's what made it fun!

Amazing trip! The captain and whale expert were knowledgeable and super nice. They knew right where to go and we had an amazing whale experience. We were able to follow along from a safe distance a beautiful whale for most of the outing. The whale gave us a great show with full and partial breaches, fun slaps and tale views. It was magical!

We had a wonderful whale watching trip with Whale Tales! The seas were rough and about half of the people on the boat ended up getting motion sickness, but Whale Tales warned us of this prior to the trip and offered a refund or reschedule for anyone interested. They did everything in their power to make it a wonderful trip. We saw several whales and were able to get up close to a few of them. I would highly recommend this company!

Non stop Hump Back whale cruising! We passed South Head and headed South and within ten minutes came upon a couple of Hump Back whales. Absolutely fabulous experience of more than an hour watching them cruise North towards the Great Barrier Reef. Lots of breaching, tail waving, blow holes and riding the waves - the best whale experience by a margin. A warm lovely Winter’s day help immensely and a very friendly boat crew made the day memorable.

Had an amazing whale watching experience with Mette and the Captain. Very rough seas out to navigate but saw multiple whales breaching and surfacing very close to the boat! Very informative about the whales and their migration and mating. Would definitely use Whales Tales again!

True to its name, Whale Tales delivered the goods – – lots of humpback sightings in the waters just outside of Sydney Harbour.
The tour was very well organized, starting from our on-time pick up to our on-time return. The pick-up point was easy to find and very accessible from the Sydney CBD. The crew was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. And the boat was clean and comfortable. It was a bit chilly out on the water, so warm clothing is definitely recommended.
Once out of the Harbour, we spent an hour spotting and watching whales breach, blow, and surface. There was no lack of activity for us to see and record.
Meadow, the resident whale expert, did a fantastic job of providing the details of the whale migration, the activity that we were seeing, and what these whales were likely to encounter on their migration from Antarctica.
What a fun, educational, and unique experience with Whale Tales. I would recommend this activity for anyone!

It was incredible! We were able to see whales up close and we witnessed 3 jumps out of the water! The 2 guides are really nice and funny. We had a great time. The boat is comfortable, without too many people and the explanations during the visits are very interesting! We recommend with your eyes closed!

Greg and Alex were great guides and we got incredibly lucky and saw two groups of whales, one of which was really active. The tour company also contacted me in advance to reschedule to a day and time which would be better conditions which was appreciated!
