Sand-Covered Beaches
This area has so many amazing beaches to explore, including but not limited to: Faro de las Cabezas de San Juan (which includes a lighthouse, dry forest, Playa Lirios), Playa Colora, Playa Escondida, Balneario Seven Seas, and the breath-taking Balneario la Monserrate (Luquillo Beach).
Rich & Colorful Culture
Known for their strong Afro-Puerto Rican art, music, dance, and culinary traditions, the colorful town of Loíza is a must-see for those visiting the area. Other points of interest open year-round include the gorgeous Playa la Posita, Pinones State Forest and Punta Cangrejo.
El Yunque Rainforest
With an average rainfall of 120 inches a year, El Yunque has a very diverse ecosystem, hosting hundreds of unique plant and animal species, including the Island's famous coquí frog. From hiking various paths and trails, to riding down natural (rock) waterslides, or finding a hidden tide pool to sit and soak it all in, this stop alone is worth the trip!

Our group of 7 (including three 12-13 year olds) spent the day with Alex exploring the eastern part of the island. Great communication, the transportation comfortable, and well-stocked with water for the day. The day was magical, well-paced, and interesting and exciting. Beautiful swimming, the waterslide was fun, and we appreciated the other stops in Luquillo and Loiza. Alex is knowledgeable, kind and very patient--- and good company!
