The helicopter tour of an eruption area wasn’t fantastic. It was pretty average, but it’s branded to give you the impression that it is an active volcano, which it is not currently. The helicopter ride itself was great. The pilot was fantastic and answered any questions we had. To sum it up it’s a 250 dollar helicopter ride being sold for 533 dollars.

Trip was cancelled. Received cancellation email the next day. Paid for taxi to and from event site. A bad experience.

This was an opportunity to see an active vent, dormant volcanos and the immense lava fields closer than you can get on the ground. The pilot pointed out things, and answered questions, but did not keep up the endless chatter so common on tours. He let us marvel and appreciate! Can’t wait to return and do their full-day tour.

The lava! It was amazing to see the lava flowing and bubbling in the crater. The pilot was very helpful in giving us all the angles for great pictures.

Great way to see Reykjavik and the Vulcanoe eruption! Highly reccomended. Its not often you get such an oportunity. Nice and friendly pilots and ground crew.
