Rotor One puts safety first so you can enjoy your experience to the fullest. They did a great job, getting us to and from the winery as well as interfacing with them, to accommodate for a delay due to weather. Some of the pilots there are also flight instructors, which made me feel extra safe and confident. If you're looking for a memorable way to get to a winery, this is the thing to do.
I wish I'd done more research on the winery. I'd recommend calling ahead to get a sense of what the vibe might be when you plan on going (ie: is there a wedding taking place, are they expecting big crowds etc). When we arrived, it was packed full of families and kids, not necessarily matching the serenity it delivered in its photos. The food was more casual than I expected: wings, a salad, pizza, and steak. We easily walked into the restaurant and were seated without wait. The same goes for the winery (though the two are not related). I think they were having a much busier day than usual, but they accommodated us very well. Overall, it was an excellent experience. If you're on the fence, you should go for it (and check the weather report before you book).

First time heli-flyer and it didn't take long for those nerves to change to excitement thanks to Eds encouragement! The views were stunning, all the way from the concrete jungle out to the green countryside. It was positively a flawless experience from start to end!

We had such an amazing time flying out to the Yarra Valley - the ride was so smooth, and the view was beautiful. A big thank you to Ed who was a great pilot as well as an amazing host making us feel safe and comfortable for the entire ride - I highly recommend Ed and Rotor One!

Ed made my first time in a helicopter an absolute dream!! The ride was super smooth and Ed made sure we knew what was going on throughout the ride. Thank you Ed - was on cloud 9 after our ride and was a massive tick off my bucket list.

Great trip, around the city and out to the Yarra Valley was perfect.
Ed was such a great pilot but an even better host. Could not recommend him and Rotor-one any more.

Omg!! my first ever helicopter ride and it was the best I could ask. Ed made me feel so comfortable pre flight and on flight especially I have a fear of heights. We live streamed the ride too and it was so cool how my camera was a apple TV for a the trip. Ed has so much knowledge and passion and answered all my silly questions about clouds to turbulence to live streaming. Definitely will be back for another trip.
The best part was definitely take off and landing at the winery in royal style.
