Get out of your comfort zone and immerse yourself in one of the best and most unique experiences that CDMX has to offer.

On this unique and complete tour, we will delve into the history, culture and gastronomy of "Barrio Bravo", Tepito.

We will walk together towards one of the main streets of the neighborhood and enter Tepito. First, we will guide you through the various stalls of one of the largest and most labyrinthine traveling street markets in Latin America, with over 12,000 stalls. Then, we will visit the famous and beautiful sports center "El Maracana" and the main church, "San Francisco de Asís", located in the heart of Tepito.
Continuing our tour, we will take you through streets that only we, Tepiteños, know, giving you an exclusive perspective of the different residential areas.
Finally, we will visit one of the most famous altars in Mexico, the altar of "La Santa Muerte". If you have any questions, contact us.

Gaby and Martin are great guides and make you feel safe and welcome throughout Tepito. We took the food tour and had some of the best tacos and street food I’ve ever tasted. Such a fun and authentic experience and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Mexico City!

My guide was Nellie . What a wonderful person . I absolutely loved her company . She took me all over the area , we ate we drank we ate some more , she showed me so much and even got to meet Enriqueta Romero at the santa muerte shrine.
Her knowledge of the area was brilliant. I wasn't too worried about the neighbourhood as I've been to some dodgy places. Tepito I think is very underrated. I found it charming and oozed character and I loved how real it all was . Don't be talked out of it letting people tell you it's a bad thing. If your open minded do it !! One of my highlights after seeing and doing so much in my favourite city .

Incredible tour, my favorite part was the Maracaná court in the center of Tepito. The food is also incredible, I recommend yes or yes the migas. Our guide Elid was very cool and knew a lot of people in the neighborhood. I felt very comfortable with him as a guide. Thank you very much for the experience!

I highly recommend this amazing tour. My guides, Gaby & Martn, expertly led me through the maze-like streets of Tepito, where every corner revealed something new and fascinating. My guides’ passion for the neighborhood was obvious as they shared stories of Tepito's rich past and the resilient spirit of its residents. By the end of the tour, I had not only gained a deeper understanding of this vibrant neighborhood but also a newfound appreciation for the diversity and resilience of Mexico City as a whole. This walking tour was truly a highlight of my trip, and one I'll cherish for years to come.

The tour totally exceeded my expectations! It is super complete and adapted to what you want to see (food, shopping, culture, etc.). Gaby (the local guide) makes the experience even more enjoyable with her talk, and all the food and drinks are excellent. I hope to return very soon!

Thank you very much Gaby!!

Cannot thank Nellie enough - what an amazing woman, and what a superb guide with a wealth of truly genuine and interesting insights into Tepito's lore and current situation. I will never forget the 7 cabronas - and meeting the legendary Doña Queta was nothing short of incredible. Add to this amazing food and tasty drinks and you have the best hours you can spend exploring Mexico City.

First, safety is not an issue...no more or less than any other city. Gaby is a life long resident who expertly guided us to cool spots and shared her story as well as the history of Tepito. We had great food, visited tons of shops. Music was everywhere, had delicious drinks, saw art, murals, the stadium and visited some of the neighborhood housing projects. I saw nothing but hardworking and happy people. Honestly, I found the Shrine to Santa Muerte a little creepy but it's one of those things you have to experience. Highly recommended!!!
